Hi. Thankyou for your participation in the challenge series or/and contests. In November The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There will be over $4000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. If this would appeal to you and you think you'd be interested in contributing new articles on women during this month for your region or wherever please sign up in the participants section. The articles done may also count towards the ongoing challenge. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate and raise money to buy books about women for others to use, this is also fine. Help would also be appreciated in drawing up the lists of missing articles. If you think of any missing articles please add them to the sub lists by continent at Missing articles. Thankyou, and if taking part, good luck!♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:34, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

Villages in India
Hi. I am not sure if AP has "talukas". It is like state>division>district>taluka>tehsil. eg: Maharashtra>Vidarbha>Nagpur district>Ramtek, and there are the small villages. In the articles of districts, we can list talukas. But a taluka doesnt have its own article, eg the Ramtek town, and Ramtek taluka have one shared article. How can we list all the small towns/villages in any article? In taluka, and district's article?
Every district headquarter is also a taluka headquarter. So listing all the towns/villages of Nagpur taluka will make the page of Nagpur district very lengthy. Can you think of a solution which can be applied to all the articles of such case? —usernamekiran(talk) 19:44, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
- You are right, AP doesn’t have Talukas, but let us assume Taluk equals Revenue district in AP. Nagpur district=Guntur district, Nagpur taluk=Guntur revenue division and Nagpur Tehsil=Guntur mandal and Nagpur=Guntur, you can check them.—IM3847 (talk) 01:16, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Fuji Broadcasting Center
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Fuji Broadcasting Center requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://architectuul.com/architecture/fuji-tv-headquarters. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 11:11, 12 May 2018 (UTC)

Donot delete our village data
this is data is translate from our regional language.if want proof see this link https://te.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B0%85%E0%B0%A4%E0%B1%8D%E0%B0%A4%E0%B1%8B%E0%B0%9F Ravi Teja Bollimuntha (talk) 17:00, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Ravi Teja Bollimuntha: Although it is translated from Telugu, unlike in Telugu wikipedia, English wikipedia needs references. Which are absent for the most of the sentences in the article. So it should be removed as per WP:OR and since information about banks, schools and hospitals appears promotional, it qualifies to be removed as per WP:SOAP.—IM3847 (talk) 17:05, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
how to delete the data without knowing village details??? first gather details of athota..read all matter, after current data not relevant then delete Ravi Teja Bollimuntha (talk) 17:07, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
wikipedia was accept that data in your regional language. it is not following that rules in telugu.why?? wiki is not accepting in English language why???? Ravi Teja Bollimuntha (talk) 17:12, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- Since it is a village, the template follows Lead, Geography, History, Demographics and Transport in order. Census 2011 and APS RTC helps as references for these sections. Other than these one have to provide primary and secondary resources inorder to add additional information to the article.
- And when it comes to differences in Wikipedias, since both Telugu and village are regional, most of the unreferenced content is accepted. But English Wikipedia is viewed and edited by Global users. So, Original Research and Advertising are strictly prohibited —IM3847 (talk) 17:16, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

Amaravathi-Anantapur expressway
Hi IM3847, isn't the planned highway ends at proposed outer-ring road northern side of Guntur at Gorantla? It is important to mention Guntur city as it seems to terminate or goes through the outskirts of Guntur city. Please check. Gnt (talk) 18:07, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
- The route follows Thulluru, Tadikonda and Medikonduru mandals respectively and its no where near outskirts of city, if its inside the judistriction of city's civic administration you are free to add, but it isn't.--IM3847 (talk) 18:19, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
Hello IM3847, how can a major express way go right through a city dwellings. It is obvious that a busy express way is built little away from the main city, by passing city. Hope you understand. Gnt (talk) 18:10, 13 June 2018 (UTC) By the way I added hospitals info. based on a wikilink and many private hospitals based on GMC government website link. Not sure why you reverted that. Also I'm in the middle of adding map image for the city and you reverted those changes also. Gnt (talk) 18:10, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- The hospital you added Shankara Eye hospital is an private hospital, its like you are violating rules of WP:SOAP. And when it comes to map, it was a redlink, i thought you are mistaken and the perpendicular distance between Anantapur Amaravati highway and Guntur is way more than 15 kilometres. So, it may not be correct to add it in city limits.—IM3847 (talk) 01:57, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- Sankara eye hospital has wiki article to itself and it's free health care hospital. It is important to be mentioned. Regarding the map, okay that's fine, I will work on adding the image again. With the express-highway it will be going near Perecherla/outer ring road and less than 8 km from city outskirts. It is obvious that a major express way is built few kilometers away from the city to avoid adding by-pass roads in the future. It is also obvious that city with a population of 0.8 million (approx) people needs to be mentioned in that article as it's highlights. Gnt (talk) 16:01, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- Ok add Sankara eye Hospital if healthcare is free, but about Anantapur Freeway it may be added but it is a few kilometres from Guntur city and generally we ignore roads that are distant from cities like Rajahmundry & Eluru in Gondugolanu - Kovvur highway. But this time Iam going with you and you can add Guntur.--IM3847 (talk) 16:09, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

- Adam9007, the short answer to that question is "no". We don't need to bring more attention to this than necessary, and as Tony has said above, you'd have to be pretty dumb to visit that user page and think that you'd be able to get a good article out of the user. - It's full of deletion notices. Anyone who looks at that page will not want to hire someone who is all but guaranteed to get the product they are paying for deleted. For our purposes, the user talk serves as a record of the warnings/deletion notices the account has received. TonyBallioni (talk) 17:13, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- Iam sorry I can't get that, can you please elaborate..--IM3847 (talk) 17:11, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- In that case, its a really good example of why to not hire the company... TonyBallioni (talk) 17:08, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
Vijayawada Airport to be moved as NTR Amaravati International Airport
Dear IM3847 , Am opening a new section to understand your opinion on the following topic.
Vijaywada airport was accorded international status and soon in September or near future there is a first international flight to singapore on cards. Last year the aiport page was moved to Vijayawada International airport and was supported by all the users. But again I could notice the same was reverted back by a user. As per official data published by AAI the airport is now international(could be with NIL international flights) and it has got both CUSTOMS/IMMIGRATION facilities. Now in the circular info published by AAI on 2nd January 2018, the airport is renamed and referred as 'NTR Amaravati International Airport'. Below is the reference link of the same from official website of AAI https://www.aai.aero/en/node/72208.
Hope this is suffice for moving the airport page to a new name 'NTR Amaravati International Airport'. I am not much excited in this matter but I want to understand the consent of other users. That led me open this section in a friendly way. Please share your thoughts on the same so that we can together work on improving such content. Cheers :)By LovSLif (talk) 09:54, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
- @LovSLif: I saw many reverts and page moves on that topic but as per consequences common name Vijayawada Airport was approved since it was most used on News and Books rather than adding the word International & NTR Amaravati. But its was incorrect as per official name and may mislead the viewers who have insufficient knowledge about Vijayawada as it was emerging capital of Andhra Pradesh it may reach non-locals who may find different names for same airport on AAI website and Wikipedia.--IM3847 (talk) 02:14, 25 August 2018 (UTC)

Is there a way to get the list of articles under WP:Andhra Pradesh without talk pages. How can I create a navigation page for Wikipedia:WikiProject Visakhapatnam like it exists on Wikipedia:WikiProject Hyderabad.-- IM3847 (talk) 03:10, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
- Normally, articles are attached to projects by posting the "banner" for the project on the article's talk page. That populates a category like Category:WikiProject Andhra Pradesh – but all of the entries are, indeed, as expected, talk pages. You can view the category, but that form of presentation is not suitable for all uses. Another way to get a list is to use the PETSCAN tool. This link should give you the list I think you're asking for – warning, it has more than 5,000 entries.
- There's nothing magic about WikiProject pages. They are mostly built by hand, just like most article pages. To me, those two WikiProject pages look fairly similar. If there's a feature on one of them that you would like to have available in the other, most likely all you need to do is copy a template or some Wikitext (with attribution, please). — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 04:29, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you guys
AfroCine: The Months of African Cinema Continues….
Greetings!
Thank you very much for signing up to participate in the Months of African Cinema global contest/edit-a-thon, and thank you for your contributions so far.
It is already the middle of the contest and a lot have been achieved already! We have been able to get over 200 articles created in over seven (7) languages! The figures soars to up to a thousand, if Wikidata entries are included. Furthermore, there have been about 5 in-person gatherings of Wikipedians in different countries across the world to create articles about African(a) cinema!
We are very excited about what has been achieved so far, but your contributions are still needed to further exceed all expectations! Let’s create more articles before the end of this contest, which is this November!!!
- Article suggestions can be found here. You can also add to this list.
- Some notable reliable sources for African cinema can be found here. Again, this list needs expansion.
- Interested in Wikidata translation? check out the Occupation Drive, which is being led by Wiki Loves Women, in support of the contest and the project!
- Please remember to list articles you have created or improved in the Article Achievements section of the contest page, so that they can be easily tracked.
Thank you once again for being part of this global event!
Kind regards.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 22:50, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Disambiguation link notification for November 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Avanigadda, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bus depot (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:12, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
The article Transport in Rajahmundry has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No claim of notability, not significant, no references, very little content
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DannyS712 (talk) 02:41, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
I have unreviewed a page you curated
Thanks for reviewing Transport in Rajahmundry, IM3847.
Unfortunately Insertcleverphrasehere has just gone over this page again and unreviewed it. Their note is:
If you were not aware, PRODed and CSD tagged articles should not be marked as reviewed, per recent consensus here. Cheers,

- @Insertcleverphrasehere:Thanks, but I haven’t reviewed it intentionally, it may have been an accident. I’ve created that page and since I’m busy I wasn’t able to complete it, if I was given a week time I would definitely complete the article.-IM3847 (talk) 01:59, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- IM3847, Ah... I see, you are autopatrolled I take it? Sorry. I'll check the logs next time. Feel free to ignore this message. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 02:01, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
