User talk:Hypnagogic hallucination/sandbox
Hi! Your article is looking really great! I think it provides a lot of valuable information on the framework and introduces the reader to how it might be applied or enhanced with other methodologies. Great addition of images and visuals as well. I like those a lot. I also really like the key themes section at the end, which can link to other articles and other areas.
You might consider adding in some examples to help clarify some of the LCE-specific terminology or simpler language to help make it a little more accessible to non-experts. I find I have the same trouble, sometimes opting for the idea over the discipline-specific terminology. For instance:
"The product life cycle is formally defined by ISO 14040 as the “consecutive and interlinked stages of a product system, from raw material acquisition or generation from natural resources to final disposal.”[5] Comprehensive life cycle analysis considers both upstream and downstream processes.[6] LCE aims to reduce the negative consequences of consumption and ensure a sustainable standard of living for future generations."
You might consider including examples for up/downstream processes in the paragraph. Similarly, you might consider adding in an extra note at the end explaining how it aims to reduce waste/impacts or how it helps make cycles more efficient and more sustainable. Or, you might even consider putting in a case study or two? I'm not sure if there is accessible information on this, but maybe a case study of where it has been successfully used or where it could be used? It could be neat if the information is available.
— Good Job expanding on this stub! Good intro, and then further explanation of how to quantify and also the complimentary methodologies and technologies. I agree that the images are a good addition as well!
Some suggestions
- "Comprehensive life cycle analysis considers both upstream and downstream processes."- consider expanding on what upstream and downstream processes are.
- "Researchers need to gather and synthesize historical and real..." - Consider removing the "need to" to make the sentence more descriptive and not instructive - describe what is done, not what needs to be done.
- "The IPAT equation"-link ipat to I = PAT wiki article
- Key Themes section - Consider making this section a table, with the themes in the table, rather than the list is currently is. It'll help to better visualize the 4 sections as distinct sections. For table how-to: Help:table
- The images associated with the complimentary technologies and methodologies section could be perhaps left-aligned to break up the page and also show that they are related to the proper section. For image how-to: Help:How_to_use_images
