- Thanks for the Bach music! Happy Easter to you as well. Perhaps someday the MoS will change. I'm sympathetic to the concerns of folks who worry that infoboxes tempt folks to add too much trivia, though I think eschewing an infobox entirely is an overcorrection. - I tend to avoid joining large public Discord servers because I find them overwhelming. As for jointly crafting a case request—I'm impressed by your initiative and humbled by the realization that it's sort of immoderate for me to have suggested doing something that I don't feel ready to do it myself. English Wikipedia's investments in Anglo–American empires and their shadows are steep; your impression of the downplaying in other articles about indigenous relations/eliminationism in various British settler colonies is the tip of an iceberg that only has occasional and semi-random exceptions. But the depth of this investment means challenging it is difficult. Extreme action is more likely to happen against technicalities (or even ordinary behavior stretched into being interpreted as technicalities or worse) in comparatively inconsequential edits by/about minority populations than against distortions in high-profile edits by/about the architects of Anglo empire and their descendants. I think the success of the case example I linked depended on the research labor of a professional academic as well as the whitewashing at issue not being about any Anglo–American empires (Gentile Polish privilege is different from British/Australian/etc. imperial privilege): a scale of effort I don't think I have the capacity to match and a circumstance our concerns don't share, respectively. I could say I'm open to helping revise or fine tune a case request but not investigate, but then that's thrusting all the research necessary on you, which seems like it wouldn't be fair to you.

- You are aware that I've previously asked you to not post on my talk page. I will hope that my faith in the Wikipedia community is not misplaced when I say that I think it's understandable if I'm hesitant to take rules advice from someone who has had to be told they have an excessively rigid sense of various Wikipedia rules, and likewise hesitant to take privacy advice from someone who has had to be told that Internet stalking an editor is creepy behavior. I'll add that even in the event that what you say is 100% correct, I don't see how justifies you having just now edited my comments, which your linked edit reveals you have done by reverting my edits to my signature in my own comments. In your words,

, yet you have edited my comments.Additionally, the guidance about username changing states that it should not be used to obfuscate an account's connection to past behavior on Wikipedia. That is why on that page I made the edits you presently object to; my sense was that this would ensure that anyone who reads it later knows when other editors are talking about this account/user/me without having to go into old versions. Otherwise various of the comments about/objections to/complaints against me on that page could become unclear to potential later readers unfamiliar with me before the account name change who are just reading the live page or an archive of it.I'll state now that I'm about to get on an airplane and have several cascading deadlines outside of Wikipedia that I need to meet across the next few days and next month, so talk page watchers ought not expect further posts from me in the immediate future.
