Most of those are blogs, some of which are WordPress write-ups by metal fans, which are WP:USERG content. YouTube links are WP:PRIMARY sources, as is the band's website. You can comment with all of this on the nomination discussion. Your talk page is not the place for this link spam. Ss112 18:40, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you implying that the album Abyss Rising doesn't exist or that everything about it is fabricated? This isn't a mere write-up or fan creation. Abyss Rising is a legitimate album released by Nightrage on February 18, 2022, via Despotz Records, and it's very much real, with tangible media coverage and reviews to back it up.
Can you explain me what is the issue here? The additions are for albums of the band by the band members. What is all this ? Pericles Bogris at Hydra Rise Media (talk) 18:45, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm very well aware it's a real album, Pericles Bogris. However, Wikipedia has certain standards of notability, which are laid out at WP:NALBUMS. You're also not hiding the fact that you are part of a promotional firm paid either by the band and their label or management to promote their works online, including obviously at Wikipedia, which is supposed to be written neutrally (see also WP:NPOV), not by people paid off to do it. I'm sure you have an enthusiasm for the music, but Hydra Rise Media should not be utilizing Wikipedia to promote music. Your account has been reported. Ss112 18:55, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
First, let me clarify that this is not a paid service, and my contributions to Wikipedia are solely out of genuine interest in music and ensuring accurate representation of Abyss Rising on the platform. There’s no hidden agenda or promotional intent behind these edits.
I understand that Wikipedia has strict guidelines for neutrality and notability, and I’ve done my best to follow those, providing reliable and independent sources to support the album's coverage. The references I’ve included are not promotional in nature, but critical reviews from reputable outlets within the metal music scene.
I appreciate your vigilance in maintaining Wikipedia’s standards, but I would ask that we keep the discussion focused on improving the article rather than jumping to conclusions about my motives. I’m happy to work with others to ensure the article meets all necessary guidelines. Pericles Bogris at Hydra Rise Media (talk) 18:58, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So are you saying that Nightrage is not your client? I've found quite a few social media postings that suggest that they are. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:47, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you have any paid relationship with the band, that is paid editing, it does not require specific payment for or instructions to edit. "Ensuring accurate representation" clearly falls within your duties. 331dot (talk) 19:56, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 19:52, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature would be acceptable as your username. 331dot (talk) 19:53, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

My intent is not to contribute to Wikipedia for financial gain but rather to support the music I am passionate about. My contributions are made voluntarily, with the goal of improving content related to music that I believe deserves recognition. I respect Wikipedia's policies and aim to ensure that my edits align with its standards of neutrality and accuracy. Pericles Bogris at Hydra Rise Media (talk) 07:12, 11 September 2024 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Someone else will review your request, but that is frankly very disingenuous. Your company is a music promotion company. If you are editing about clients- regardless of your reason- you are a paid editor, you do not need to be specifically paid to edit or specifically asked to edit, or doing so with the intent to profit from it specifically. 331dot (talk) 07:19, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
