St. Andrews Building

[edit]

Thank you for uploading several images of Glasgow University to Wikipedia to help with the article. However, the picture of the St. Andrew's building is untagged. If it is a picture taken by you, could you tag it as such, or note its source, otherwise? If not, it will probably be deleted within a week.

Also, if you happen to have a picture of the Boyd Orr building, you might wish to upload that and add it to the gallery at Brutalism, to fill out that article and widen the links to the University's page. Reveilled 02:20, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Gu cloisters.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gu cloisters.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
