Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Emily Dickinson do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. María (habla conmigo) 16:48, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I don't believe the links you've added satisfy WP:EL; links are supposed to be kept to a minimum, and since Emily Dickinson is a featured article, it is best that the EL section does not become a link farm. Furthermore, I'm afraid that since you are apparently affiliated with the website, your edits may constitute as a conflict of interest. See also WP:EL#ADV. I hope this helps explain things. On a side note, I'm not sure I could trust a website that prominently displays a false portrait of Dickinson. That image is a doctored version of the only authenticated portrait of the poet later than childhood and is therefore an inaccurate representation. Just FYI. :) María (habla conmigo) 19:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Rudyard Kipling. Inappropriate links include links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that serve as advertising or promotion. Thank you.
