Little League Baseball Map
Hey, I'm wondering if you'd mind updating the Image:Little_League_Baseball_Map.png to include Australia. They have started to participate in it since the map was last updated. They are part of the Asia/ Pacific region. Thanks. —Borgardetalk 10:28, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- You can do so yourself but I'll do it anyway. Thanks for the update. –Howard the Duck 11:57, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'm not good with images which is why I asked. —Borgardetalk 12:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, it was a good idea you consulted me first since I'll be moving that file to Commons. Thanks again. –Howard the Duck 12:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Air21 Express.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Air21 Express.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:51, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Hey Howard the Duck, this is IMatthew (talk · contribs), co-coordinator of the WikiCup; just informing you of the Featured List contest, starting this coming Friday. You may want to check it out; it will keep you busy for the time being before the WikiCup starts around January. Thanks for listening! iMatthew (talk) 22:09, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
FIBA
A similar discussion to the one you contributed to is going on for the main FIBA page if you would like to contribute. MrArticleOne (talk) 02:37, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- It´s a different thing here, because at FIBA´S article we must put ALL the FIBA´s official tournaments. The thoughts or feelings mustn´t be here... Where is said that it´s and exhibition? --Ultracanalla (talk) 07:36, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- You do realize that there are TONS of tourneys do you? –Howard the Duck 13:54, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Any event that (a) doesn't factor into the World Rankings or (b) determine who will participate in an event that does factor into the World Rankings is, by definition, an exhibition, because it doesn't count for anything. It's just a game, or series of games, intended to exhibit the sport. MrArticleOne (talk) 16:32, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, Howard, you might want to know that Ultracanella has spoken up again at the FIBA talk page as well. MrArticleOne (talk) 16:32, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- I am afraid of getting into a revert war at the FIBA page. How do you think it should be handled? MrArticleOne (talk) 19:18, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- You do realize that there are TONS of tourneys do you? –Howard the Duck 13:54, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but if there are TONS of tournaments, but OFFICIAL and ORGANIZED by FIBA, we -as an encyclophedia- MUST put ALL these official tournaments that FIBA organizes... The article must be complete. --Ultracanalla (talk) 19:56, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Um, no. FIFA only lists their major tourneys. The intercontintal and world championships. Don't see why we'd have to list all. –Howard the Duck 02:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
UST Template
Hello, it is very nice of you to continuously edit the UST Template but I thought it became very similar now to Ateneo de Manila's. Moreover, delegating the individual colleges into "Faculties", "Colleges", "Schools", and "Institutes" is kind of misleading. The new format somehow gives the non-Thomasians an impression that "Faculties" are superior than the three. I just thought you could revert the template back to the previous and better format. Btw, did you make the new UST heading, it's nice! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pampi1010 (talk • contribs) 16:54, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I'll keep the alphabetical arrangement though. –Howard the Duck 03:55, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

What opinion are you talking about? Stop trying to be funny because you're not. Do you own En wiki or a wiki page at that? Now pls stop making nonsense jokes.
Now you're saying "discussion". Please stop trying to be funny and there is no need for a template or a chart for incomplete records. Anyway, pls stop fooling around ducky. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ayusin (talk • contribs) 14:57, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Santo Tomasiana and UST History
Hi, it's me again. As you can see, I made a new section in the UST template. The problem is, the Santo Tomasiana doesn't show up. And yes, I put up a broken Wikipedia link of the History of UST. I'll be doing the article in the next few days. I have already borrowed the book "I Walked with Twelve UST Rectors" from the library yesterday. The book is such a find, you wanna borrow it for yourself. Thanks. --Pampi1010 (talk) 17:35, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Patience is a virtue - just not one of mine. My edits have already showed up. Thanks again. --Pampi1010 (talk) 17:41, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
I use http://www.pangulo.ph/ as my basis for names. The proper names (not complete names) of the presidents, as they themselves used them in office are listed here. I am aware of WP:COMMONNAME, I do not dispute that. However, I just thought that since the List of Presidents of the Philippines article referred to Marcos and Aquino as president, that it would be better to list them accoriding to the name they used in office. I did not add their middle initials for any other articles, execpt that article. If my purpose was really just to add everyone's middle initial and complete name, just for the sake of doing it, then I would have done it for all the entries, not just Marcos and Aquino. The link still would have led readers to the proper article names Ferdinand Marcos and Corazon Aquino.
I am just trying to make a contribution. No need to verbally attack me with sarcastic comments, such as "If you still disagree, please change "Kobe Bryant" to "Kobe B. Bryant" on the NBA MVP list.". WP:NPA
I did not revert your latest edit. 71.116.123.217 (talk) 03:36, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, Emilio Aguinaldo was "Emilio Aguinaldo y Famy" and Roxas was "Manuel Roxas y Acuña".
- I did not intentionally sarcastically attack you. I merely compared Kobe's and the presidents' conventions. WP:COMMONNAME applies to everybody. –Howard the Duck 03:39, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Why Wikipedia is not the place for live scoring?
Howard the duck, hgow come wikipedia is not the place for live scoring? In the Wikipedia:Not, there is no such NOT....
Fair Use
The wikipedia bots are haunting me with regards to the file I uploaded recently in the article - History of University of Santo Tomas. I just don't know how to deal with it. I've been uploading pictures without the copyright thing in the UST seals and emblems article but it didn't cause me any attention from the bots. I was avoiding the copyright rules so not to complicate things. So in the first photo (the old arch, can be found in the early years section of History of UST) where I used the more proper way of handling copyright materials, I chose the "unique historic image" option. It went fairly smoothly. But when I uploaded the [second photo] - using the the same options - a bot came chasing me down. I tried to supplement the second photo with some facts under the non-fair usage rules as requested but a second bot went and attacked me again. lol. I just can't understand the language of copyright rules, let alone the uploading images rules. Anyway, I have collected more seals of the individual colleges of UST. I'm planning to update the Seals and emblems article but again, the Martian language of Wikipedia doesn't allow me so. Can you help me on that matter? Thanks a lot. Last one, are you still in UST? --Pampi1010 (talk) 16:34, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- You'd need a fair use rationale. See Image:StLS1921.jpg for an example. –Howard the Duck 11:45, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
All companies has a right to have its wikipedia article as long as it has a source, website, ect. to proved that the company really exist. Now if you talking about, notability, Im pretty sure that Angel Active is one of the most popular clothing line in the country. I suggest to keep this article. Wikiproject Univ
Hello, can you put the History of UST article under the Wikiproject univ? I tried to do it myself by referring to the how-to's in the wikiproject univ articles, but to no avail. I think, the article has gained sufficient credibility and sources already. Thanks. --Pampi1010 (talk) 06:49, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
