This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/James Hyde (Artist), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://hortongallery.com/artist/jameshyde.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Problems with your draft and your account

[edit]

Hello HortonGallery, we just spoke via IRC, but you left rather abruptly. As I said, there are several issues. Firstly, you should read our guideline on conflicts of interest; writing about a topic you're closely associated with (such as an artist represented by your gallery) is discouraged. Secondly, your username is in violation of Wikipedia's username policy because it's the name of an organization; Wikipedia accounts are for individuals, not groups. I suggest you have it changed as soon as possible; otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Thirdly, the draft itself needs better sources. Wikipedia content should be based on reliable sources that are independent of the subject, such as newspaper articles about him or reviews of his work in reputable arts magazines. The galleries where his work was exhibited are not considered independent sources on their own exhibitions, nor do we consider his own or your website independent sources. And such sources shouldn't just be appended as an afterthought - what they say about Hyde should be the basis of the Wikipedia article. You may also want to add some links to related Wikipedia articles; see Help:Link on how to do so. I have moved the draft to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/James Hyde; that's the preferred location for drafts. You can submit it for a review by following the instructions in the draft message box I put on the draft or by adding {{subst:submit}} to its very top. Huon (talk) 20:36, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello HortonGallery. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Kirk Hayes".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Kirk Hayes}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 00:01, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
