==Welcome== Hello Horse master and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. Try to be civil by following simple guidelines and signing your talk comments with ~~~~ but never forget that one of our central tenets is to ignore all rules.

If you want to learn more, Wikipedia:Tutorial is the place to go, but eventually the following links might also come in handy:

Float around until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. Additionally, the Community Portal offers a more structured way to become acquainted with the many great committees and groups that focus on specific tasks. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English as well as the cleanup, welcoming, and counter-vandalism committees. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy. If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 04:00, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PAGEMOVE??

[edit]

moving articles to more accurate titles is a reason to block someone? i think not--Horse master 19:58, 7 May 2006 (UTC) {{unblock|missleading reason for block}}[reply]

Given the recent string of persistent disruptive edits to Horse (vandalism leaving half-formed sentences), you picked the wrong time to make a disruptive page move. If you want to proposed this page move, try Wikipedia:Requested moves and get a consensus. I'll unblock in a few minutes. -- Curps 20:00, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves

[edit]

If you move Nazism to National Socialism (the first socialist government) again, I'm going to block you from editing for disrupting Wikipedia. See WP:BP. Please don't do it again without proposing your move through the Wikipedia:Requested moves process. Based on my familiarity with Wikipedia naming conventions, I can assure you that your proposed name is not appropriate. Rhobite 03:10, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who wants to eat horses?

[edit]

To quote you... what kind of a person would slaughter such a noble animal for food? Well, both of my grandfathers and several uncles are farmers and swear cows are more intelligent than horses. But I don't feel uncomfortable eating a steak, so why not chow down on dobbin? Do you eat battery farmed eggs? They are produced under fantastically cruel conditions, and beef and pork and chicken etc etc. Sows are held down in tiny cages to produce piglets and an abbatoir isn't for the faint hearted let me tell you. Unless you are a strict vegan you are a complete hypocrite. A Muslim or Jew would be disgusted to see someone consume pork as a Hindu would be shocked at a beef burger. Your cultural values are to be respected, you don't like the idea of Mr Ed for lunch. But respect those who do and don't denigrate them as 'what kind of person?'
