Hi. I saw your contribution to Trust Disambiguation, as follows:

  • A blind trust is a trust in which the executors have full discretion over the assets, and the trust beneficiaries have no knowledge of the holdings of the trust. Blind trusts are generally used when a trustor wishes to keep the beneficiary unaware of the specific assets in the trust, such as to avoid conflict of interest between the beneficiary and the investments. Investopedia

I wonder if that might be better placed at an appropriate point in Trust (Law) USA?

I'm just thinking that if blind trust has to go here, we also have to have bare trust, discretionary trust, unit trust, fixed trust, testementary trust, inter vivos trust, express trust, resulting trust, interest-in-possession trust, nil-band discretionary trust, life interest trust, I could go on and on and on...

I won't make the change until I've allowed a day or so for you to comment, though. AndyJones 22:41, 28 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Or.. I see you've created a whole article called Blind trust, so maybe that could be linked from somewhere (e.g. Trust (Law) USA). I also think maybe it wants a {Law-stub} tag, although I haven't added that myself. AndyJones 23:01, 28 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think a link to Trust (Law) USA, should be in the disambiguation page Trust (I don't know if it is right now), and then from there a link to the current Blind trust page, which I think is more of a stub right now. Go ahead with the change you think fits better, I'm sure you are better qualified for doing this since you are a lawyer. I'm a computer programmer.--Homerotl 23:34, 28 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. Will change this today or tomorrow. AndyJones 13:06, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
