Hey, I was wondering if you could provide a link or citation for the review you added. I don't mean to say that I doubt you, but the review is liable to get removed if it doesn't have proper documentation that it actually exists. I tried looking on their website myself and couldn't find it. See WP:ALBUM#Professional_reviews for more details. Thanks! Kerrow 13:23, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Blacklogo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:22, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Greater Art.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Greater Art.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Hey man, I'm a bit bored at college at the mo. MySpace got blocked, so has YouTube. :( Just thought I message you on Wiki, I really do have nothing to do. I finished this really long essay on Market Research. A tad boring, but I chose to be on this course so I guess I can't complain. How's your college doing by the way, anythin' interestin' happenin'....sorry man, you'll come on here and see all this rubbish that I typed but I'm basically boreeeed. Oh, I met someone who said she recognised me from somewhere. Turns out she recognised me from Doveland, she was in the year above us. She remembers me, I didn't remember her I only remember her name, I told her about you, and she says she remembers you to, she also told me that someone in Yr. 11 at Desford actually facies you. I think she said her name was Laurie or Lauren or something like that. I said "that'll make interesting conversation." I'll talk to you later on MSN though, so I'll hopefully talk to you tonight sometime. Anyways, see you dude!

Lake of Tears pictures

[edit]

Thank you for your interest and effort in keeping the wikipedia pages clean. I'd like to turn your attention to the picture of LoT on their main page, tagged as inappropriate because another free image may be found freely on the web, which is not exactly correct. All the promotional photos on the LoT site may be used freely within wikipedia (and only here), as the webmaster replied to me when I asked him (via the contact form in the contact section) about this issue. Most of the other photos of LoT found on the web which are not on their official site are photos from concerts, which indeed are not suitable exactly because I could, myself, post pictures of my own after attending a concert. My point is that the picture should stay, it is a promotional one (poster, as the license tag is correct) and the webmaster allows it to be used here. Costinbanu 07:06, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Animosity EP

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Animosity EP, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Animosity EP. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Albanach.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Albanach.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:09, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:Kristian Ranta.jpg

[edit]
A tag has been placed on Image:Kristian Ranta.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Kristian Ranta.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Hole in the wall,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Hole in the wall. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Where the Hell Are We and What Day Is It... This Is Static-X".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:57, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
