A tag has been placed on Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://psatri.org.sa/aboutpsatri.php. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Hnhusain, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

- Hi. I see over at User talk:Dodger67 that you have provided a letter allowing you to use copyrighted materials for inclusion in a Wikipedia article. However, that it not sufficient for at least two reasons:
- While I don't doubt your honesty, anyone could write a letter purporting to be from anyone, and so Wikipedia would need something more.
- Anything used in Wikipedia must be appropriately licensed for reuse by third parties under the terms of WP:CC BY-SA or freer, as one of Wikipedia's core aims is for its content to be freely used by anyone else (with appropriate attribution) - and so allowing something to be used just by Wikipedia is not sufficient.
- For information on how to properly release copyrighted material for use on Wikipedia, please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:53, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Wiki templates for peer-review of my draft article before final article creation ?!
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I would like my userpage draft article to be proofread before finally publishing it to the mainspace to avoid their speedy deletion. Please help me know the wiki templates that can allow my sub-page draft articles to be peer reviewed by Admins/editors for possible improvements/suggestions before moving them into wiki article mainspace.
Thank you. Hnhusain (talk) 17:12, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
- Your draft has a button "Submit this draft for review". It will make your draft go through a review in the Articles for Creation process. A reviewer will either accept or decline the draft. If it's declined, its not deleted; you can continue to improve it in order to submit it again. Did this answer your question? – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 17:25, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

Prior Article Submission declined. Can references in language other than English suffice ?
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
As you can notice above, our article had been recently declined due to our weak references. However we only have strong references in Arabic, and not so much in English language. My question is.. can we provide references whose content exists in languages other than English as long as they are authentic ?
Thanks,
Hnhusain (talk) 17:48, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- Foreign-language sources are acceptable, but the issue isn't whether they are authentic but whether they are reliable sources and independent. Apparently there were concerns about the latter aspect in partiular. Huon (talk) 18:18, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

We have corrected the 2 issues currently being listed on our published article - "Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute". The 2 issues being: Article being orphan and improper usage of external links. We request you to kindly review the corrected article and remove the issues warning if they have been resolved correctly by us.
Thank you.
Hnhusain (talk) 07:49, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- I removed the external link tag, you did a nice job reformatting the links as references. Regarding the orphan tag, it indicates that not enough other articles have a link leading to Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute. I found two articles with a link to Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute, and ideally we want more than three. Please leave a massage on my talk page if you added links to Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute from other pages, and I will gladly remove the orphan tag. Good Luck. WannaBeEditor (talk) 08:28, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- I have removed the orphan tag as well. You did a great job. We would appreciate further contributions to more articles. WannaBeEditor (talk) 18:04, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Possible Conflict of Interest
[edit]It seems to me (I may be wrong) that you might be getting paid by Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute or someone else to edit Wikipedia. Wikipedia has special policies for paid editors that I would like you to read. The term usually used is conflict of interest (COI), and editors with COI are usually required to disclose it. Please read the article, and comply with the policy if it is applicable. Thanks. WannaBeEditor (talk) 08:06, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

I would like to inform you that the article Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute has still not been assessed on importance scale by the Wiki project Wikipedia:WikiProject Saudi Arabia that it belongs to.
Request you to kindly look into the matter and help us get it assessed for its importance in Wikipedia:WikiProject Saudi Arabia.
Thank you.
Hnhusain (talk) 12:45, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- If for some reason you think it's worth calling this to the attention of members of the so-called "WikiProject", then probably a better place to do so is Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Saudi Arabia, since there's no reason to suppose that members of that "project" are particularly likely to patrol the list of requests for help.
