The Canadian Blue Ensign flown by the Naval Service of Canada, Royal Canadian Navy (1910- 1921) and Government vessels during this period was a blue ensign with the badge being 'quartered' with the four provincial shields of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
