Thanks for your contributions to Duke Jìng of Qin. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 23:43, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, if you want to add something to an article, but are not sure how, please visit the article's talk page, click on add topic and then fill out the form (at Talk:Mentuhotep_I for example). Hypnôs (talk) 02:47, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:Weasel and Template:Weasel before adding {{weasel}} to an article. It should only be added at the start of an article, not between text. For inline weasel words use Template:Weasel inline.

You also should not add information unless you can cite a reliable source. If you do not know how to cite a reliable source, please read Wikipedia:Citing sources. Hypnôs (talk) 12:16, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Cao Cao, you may be blocked from editing. Hypnôs (talk) 18:39, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DearHypnosis,
I won't edit again Historydiver (talk) 00:25, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome to edit, just make sure to support your additions or changes by citing reliable sources. Hypnôs (talk) 01:52, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It isn't that people don't want you to edit and contribute Historydriver, this place thrives on the willingness of people to contribute. However you need to look at what people have been telling across your user page. You just need to cite your sources (checking sources is also a useful way to avoid errors) when adding things to a wiki page. Check out the suggested pages from the other users to help you with that. I meant this, this, and that Historydiver (talk) 02:32, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is good that you have sources. Now what you need to do is, when you add something to an existing article, you then cite the source using the citation button . If you can (though not always possible), you want a mix of primary and secondary sources. I would also suggest, for example of Duke Jing, including the chapter of the Records of the Grand Historian (also the relevant Chinese line if you can).
This won't always stop a deletion (heads up, Oversimplified's three kingdoms video is entertaining, but I would not count it as a reliable source but can recommend these as a starting point). But putting a claim without a source is going to get it reverted very quickly nowadays.
Have a look at the better done articles (a lot of older articles were poorly cited and need fixing up) and their citations to see what others are doing. DongZhuo3kingdoms (talk) 10:40, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
is this a reliable source;these contains the nomens(personal names) of Qin Dukes and early rulers? Historydiver (talk) 03:38, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
