Titles in Buffy article

[edit]

I have reverted your changes to the section titles on the Buffy article as section titles in Wikipedia use sentence case (only the first word has a capital, unless proper nouns are involved). I wouldn't spend too much time changing subtitles to have a capital for each word as it will only be reverted. Britmax (talk) 17:31, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Britmax is right; section heads should be, for example, "Family and friends" not "Family & Friends". --Orange Mike | Talk 13:18, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization (Ghost of the Robot)

[edit]

Please read WP:CAPS so that your edits conform to accepted norms. If you continue to edit in such a fashion you risk being considered disruptive. 71.234.215.133 (talk) 12:15, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shockwave

[edit]

I reverted the edit to Shockwave (Drayton Manor Theme Park) for three reasons:

  • The information seemed trivial. When Superman: The Ride of Steel was renamed Bizarro, the paint change was integral to the renaming. Did the same thing happen to Shockwave? It read more like maintenance.
  • It was uncited. If the painting was important, cite the source saying so. National newspapers are a good place to look for references.
  • The sentence broke the format of a referenced statement. By where it was, it appeared the reference after it was also referencing the painting, which it did not.

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. 71.234.215.133 (talk) 10:29, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for continuing to over-capitalise heading titles when other editors have asked you to stop this. I think that you mean well here, but it's not in line with Wikipedia's style conventions (please see WP:MOS#Article titles, headings, and sections) and is generating extra work for other people. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
