Arbitration Committee Review
Please be advised that the Arbitration Committee has now opened a Review of the background relating to the Request for Amendment at which you submitted a statement. A Review is a streamlined version of case, with a short window for presenting evidence.
The Committee invites any evidence you may wish to give directly related to any of the following matters:
- Is Mathsci engaging in improper conduct in respect of Ferahgo the Assassin?
- Is Mathsci being harassed by socks?
- Should Mathsci be pursuing socks in the R&I topic?
- Are the contributions of Ferahgo the Assassin and Captain Occam, outside of article space, functionally indistinguishable?
- Should Ferahgo the Assassin be site-banned coterminously with Captain Occam per WP:SHARE?
Evidence should be presented on the review evidence page and should be posted by 26 March 2012 at the very latest.
For the Arbitration Committee
Mlpearc (powwow) 16:45, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your input, I have caped your comments as they are outside of the reviews scope. If you would like to address the questions asked in the review, please feel free to do so.
Mlpearc (powwow) 16:54, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- I disagree. Evidence of meatpuppetry goes directly to Qs 1, 2, and 3. Did a member of arbitration committee ask you to hat my comments? If so, who? Was the entire committee aware of this request? Hipocrite (talk) 17:31, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- To clarify this, what we are looking for is specific evidence of harassment against Mathsci, which would obviously include diffs showing those who are engaged in it. In any event, you have not produced evidence of harassment, nor of meatpuppetry, just evidence that people may know each other off-wiki. Roger Davies talk 11:16, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- So, I do a lot of work in statistics. What do you think the chances are that two people who are dinosaur picture friends just happen to show up at wikipedia and be Racist friends as well, after one of those two people gets banned? Hipocrite (talk) 11:29, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- Isn't this putting the cart before the horse? Surely establishing whether harassment has taken place is an essential step before deciding what to do about it? And, in any event, on-wiki activity (ie harassment and hounding) is a lot easier for the committee to determine and deal with than less tangible material about off-wiki activity/relationships (and what X might have said to Y). After all, if the facts were as compelling as you suggest, then this would/could have been dealt with at WP:SPI or WP:AE long ago. The reality is that every discussion involving these three editors gets bogged down with a mass of allegations and counter-allegations, at the expense of the core issues. That's what we (and by we I mean the committee, see the motion discussion for details) is explicitly trying to do here. So, if there is evidence of harassment, I'd very much like to see. Roger Davies talk 11:50, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- I understand your request for evidence. Do you understand my question about the chances that dinosaur picture friends show up to be racist friends, or my question about who, exactly, you are speaking for? Hipocrite (talk) 11:55, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- I am not a racist, and nothing I have ever said or done - on wiki or off - warrants that personal attack. Please redact it. -Ferahgo the Assassin (talk) 02:28, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- Are you denying that some of your friends are unabashed racists? I have links for you - you, of course, already have them. Hipocrite (talk) 09:21, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not talking about my friends, just what you said about me. You said that I and TrevelyanL85A2 are "racist friends". Support it or redact it. And you don't have permission to link to off-wiki information about me that I haven't linked to myself. -Ferahgo the Assassin (talk) 11:34, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- No, I didn't say that. You know what would make your life easier? Unwatch my talk page - I don't watch yours. Hipocrite (talk) 12:07, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

racism personal attack
I consider your multiple accusations of me being racist as a personal attack.
- Take a look at who started the article, and what the edits are I put in.
- Take a look at my comments for people asking for the word "negro" to be used, and how I responded.
- Look at how I defend against people that want to put the "gang" pictures in, or his twitter name, or comments from his twitter
- Also take a look at Joshua Coyne, Anne and Emmett both articles i created about race or black people
- Also maybe take a look at Jesus C. Gonzalez another alleged self defense shooting, (coincidentally by a hispanic), that I am the primary editor on.
My brother is black. The very first thought I had when I saw this case was "that could be my brother, and if it was, how would I go kill Zimmerman". its a bad thought, but there you have it.
I am trying to include objective facts, about both zimmerman and martin. These facts have been extremely widely reported in the media, in direct relation to this case. hiding the background of martin OR zimmerman is wrong. Saying that information which is extremely reliable and VERIFIED BY THE FAMILY, is not wrong.
I think zimmerman was completely out of line, and should go to jail. That does not mean you hide any evidence that he might have had actual legitimate suspicion of martin. legitimate suspicion of martin was not justification to follow him, fight him, or shoot him.
Accusing someone of racism because you disagree with them? Thats wrong. Gaijin42 (talk) 22:17, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- I am sorry I called you a racist. I acted out of anger, and my action was inappropriate. How can I make it up to you? Hipocrite (talk) 23:38, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- The apology is about 50% of it. Im going to go all teacher on your ass and make you write an essay :) I made a similar argument as I made on BPLN in the article talk, with a small "flowchart" of my logic. Make an actual substantive critique of why you disagree with the logic. For pure logical fallacies i may have made, just explain your response. If you are going to fall back on policy, please quote the relevant parts of the policy, and how I violate it. Gaijin42 (talk) 23:49, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Dispute resolution
- Hipocrite, if you look higher up on that BLPN page, you will see I had participated in a previous discussion on the same issue, BEFORE you did. So, actually, you followed me to that topic. MONGO, same thing. You know that I was in the Pentagon during the 9/11 attacks, so I have more than a passing interest in the topic. That's the only topic, as far as I know, where our paths of crossed in the last few years. You, however, have followed me around. A certain recent MfD vote ring any bells? For you two to follow me around and then accuse me of following YOU takes a lot of gall. While we're here, Hipocrite, stop threatening other editors and calling them racists. MONGO, why don't you and the other 9/11 editors stop the campaign against The Devil's Advocate? I will post this on both your talk pages to make sure you get it. Cla68 (talk) 02:15, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
