Chandler

[edit]

Hi - you're new so you won't be aware that we have criteria for WP:NOTABILITY. I removed 3 entries from the list of Christmas literature as there was no evidence they meet our criteria - no articles for either book or author. You linked Chandler to a bicycle racer with the same name. Even if he had an article, he wouldn't be relevant at the Merry Christmas Bill without sources meeting WP:RS which mention him in conjunction with the bill. I also removed as unsourced your text about other states considering such a bill. So far as I can tell, any other efforts are at the moment dead, nor could I see if they are actually similar, ie nothing favoring any religion, not just one religion's symbols. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Christmas controversy, you may be blocked from editing. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:41, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Christmas controversy. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:41, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
