Template:COVID-19 testing
[edit]Dear Hikaruangeel, I'm writing about your edit to Template:COVID-19 testing. The source ([1]) says that the companies have produced a total of 15.37 million test kits as of March 5, of which 2 million are still in companies’ inventory. From this, you estimate that 13.37 million tests have been carried out in China. But how do you know that all these tests were produced only for the local market, i.e. China? It is more likely they were produced for both local and foreign markets. I'm removing your edit for now. If you can show that (15.37 − 2) refers only to local market, I will add your edit back. Thank you, and stay safe! — UnladenSwallow (talk) 04:30, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi,thanks for the reminder.I know there's a problem with this editing. So,i edited it in "ref",not in "tests".And,13.37 million are people testing number, not kits. A kit can be tested for 3,50 or 100 persons.I just want show the testing in china, you can remove it.——Hikaruangeel (talk) 05:19, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- China testing numbers are very important. If you can find a reliable source for the number of people tested in China (on any date), that would be great. Thank you! — UnladenSwallow (talk) 05:49, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
