[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Occupy Philly do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 03:42, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Occupy Philly. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:51, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
- Please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and therefore the articles about any local Occupy organizations must be written in an encyclopedic manner, not just a mirror or a blog or advertisements to join the organization. The local group must have non-trivial coverage from multiple reliable sources to be considered for a standalone article. For example, see the Occupy London article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:56, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Occupy Philly. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This revision of the article would be subject to speedy deletion under criterion G11, blatant promotion. Instead of deleting the article, it's been turned back into a redirect to OWS. You may not use Wikipedia as a soapbox to promote the website at freewebs that you keep linking to. —C.Fred (talk) 04:03, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
