Just curious, as it was perfectly within your rights to do so - but why did you remove my speedy tag from Swanpool Beach? You nominated it for deletion at AfD, I think it qualifies for speedy, so we can skip the AfD altogether. Yes? Vicenarian (T · C) 20:54, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well, that general A7 template is normally used for CSD notability on something that doesn't fall into one of the more specific notability CSDs. At least, that's how I've been using it, and no one's told me to stop. :) Vicenarian (T · C) 20:59, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well, let's not be SO excited about deleting; after all, we do want to include GOOD stuff here. But yeah, pitchforks, torches, delete! Vicenarian (T · C)
Altered Speedy Deletion rationale: The plank house
[edit]Hello Highest Heights, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I have deleted a page you tagged (The plank house) under a different criteria, because the one you provided was inappropriate or incorrect. CSD criteria are narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct deletion rationale is supplied. Consider reviewing the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any queries, please let me know. Thanks again! Ale_Jrbtalk 20:57, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Discussion that dosen't really is related to other discussions
[edit]If you see something seriously bad, don't be afraid to use the CSD templates. I see you got admonished down there for using the wrong one, but IMHO, it's not a big deal if you do. Are you using WP:TW? It makes tagging much easier. Vicenarian (T · C) 21:25, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I am using TW. Highest Heights (talk) 21:27, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Isn't it great? Vicenarian (T · C) 21:38, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

ChatNoir24 and his sock puppets
[edit]Thanks for deleting the pages as advised. I will keep an eye out if he chooses to return in other guises and recommence his vandalism. Finneganw 00:37, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. He's come back again, and I don't think he'll stop as long as he can get a new IP somewhere but as you will see it is obviously always the same person.Aggiebean (talk) 15:21, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
I have no idea where these two get their information, but one thing is for sure: I am ChatNoir24 and nobody else. And these two are the biggest vandals to the Anna Anderson article that exist. ALL my sourced material has been removed by Finneganw. Is this how Wikipedia works? And do you allow these endless accusations that I, Reverend Antonio and others are Peter Kurth? It has a certain taste of libel to me. Peter Kurth always posts under his full name. As for vandalism by Aggiebean and Finneganw, just check with Bookworm, she definitely has tales to tell. ChatNoir24 (talk) 02:29, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't know why this person was allowed back, but he is completely delusional to the reality that Anderson was proven not to be Anastasia and continues to pollute the article with disproven, discredited pro AA propaganda and even worse his own POV vandalism. And if you want to see what a lunatic this person makes of himself all over the net I have several links for you to look at. I am not ashamed of anything I've put on anyone's talk page because it was always only the truth, for those who can accept it. Sadly some can't. Please stop ChatNoir24 from editing the AA article so it can remain factual.Aggiebean (talk) 21:40, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Please, delete this guy again. He is ruining the article with disproven garbage and POV vandalism.Aggiebean (talk) 23:28, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
And yet another voice joins in the chorus: STOP paying heed to these nasty, bullying vandals! Their only cause at Anna Anderson is to keep the edit wars going while blaming others. I don't believe they care whether Anna was a fraud or not!76.195.94.220 (talk) 00:38, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- I have nothing to do with this. I've just been on wp for two-three weeks so i do not know. And to be honest i don't really care either. Highest Heights (talk) 11:30, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Platy
[edit]The list isn't pointless. People wants to know about the platy fish. (PS: Nice text on user page, xD) /Simon —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simon Ericsson (talk • contribs) 17:11, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
I removed the speedy tag you placed on above article, as I belive that despite of the recent vandalism, as the article was created quite a while ago. Or did you have other reasons to tag it as a hoax ? Passportguy (talk) 18:15, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- I double chck this and http://www.valposchiavo.ch/015stm_0205_en.htm indicates that there is a restaurant by that name. It's not quite clear if there is a hamlet, so I'll look into this further and AfD it if I can't find any sources. Passportguy (talk) 18:18, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- So far I found http://www.valposchiavo.ch/015stm_0205_en.htm (which indicates a restaurnt by that name) and http://www.valposchiavo.ch/015stm_010201_en.htm which notes a "Garbella above Brusio" which may indicate a hamlet (?) Passportguy (talk) 18:20, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ok I found the hamlet - it is truely tiny - and is apparently spelled Garbela (one l). See the sources I put in the article. Passportguy (talk) 18:26, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Being the singer
[edit]Being the singer does not make him notable enough for an article. I've now linked to the relevant policy twice, but I'll do it again; WP:MUSIC. Ironholds (talk) 20:14, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well being a singer in switzerlands most wellknown rockband = notable. Afd? Highest Heights (talk) 20:15, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't. Read the policy. I've linked you to it three times now - continuing to claim that he passes the notability guidelines on that ground after I've indicated to you four times that he doesn't is not constructive. AfD is for articles where the pass/fail is something that can be disputed - please read the policy and tell me what criteria he falls under. Ironholds (talk) 20:19, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- He is passing the most points in WP:MUSIC. Highest Heights (talk) 20:20, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

- L::He passes a grand total of no points at WP:MUSIC. WP:MUSIC is for individual performers and/or bands, for members of bands read "Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases. Members of two notable bands are generally notable enough for their own article.". Writing a single song is not "individual notability for activity independent of the band". Ironholds (talk) 20:21, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Adrian Sieber has made a solo release. Being on the swiss charter list and the Lovebugs album In Every Waking Moment has been platinum awarded. Sieber wrote all its songs. What more notability do you want? Highest Heights (talk) 20:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Read. The. Guideline. The notability of his band? Doesn't matter. The notability of his bands albums? Doesn't matter. For him to be worth an article he has to have notability independent of the band. The guideline says so, the bit I gave you directly on the talkpage says so. Ironholds (talk) 20:32, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Read what i wrote on AFD nom. Highest Heights (talk) 20:35, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Being in the swiss charts is a claim to notability - I'll withdraw the RfA. If you could include that sort of thing in articles in future then it'll save everyone a lot of time. Ironholds (talk) 03:57, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Adrian Sieber
[edit]I have nominated Adrian Sieber, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adrian Sieber. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ironholds (talk) 20:23, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for your note informing me that you've nominated a test cricketer for deletion. All test cricketers, male and female, are notable on wikipedia and your nomination will be a snow close. Please do some research into the relevant criteria when looking at topics you're obviously completely unfamiliar with. Have a nice day. Nick mallory (talk) 22:55, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
PROD at Winchester bus route 5
[edit]Hi there Highest Heights, please do not replace removed prod templates. The idea of the prod is that anyone can remove it. Once a prod is removed, the normal action is to either leave it, or nominate it for deletion through AfD. Cheers - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:17, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
DYK nomination of Lovebugs (band)
[edit]Hello! Your submission of Lovebugs (band) at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Jorge manta
[edit]Hello, agree with your nomination of Jorge manta for deletion, but as a general rule (nowhere have I found this written, but it has been told to me), you should wait 5 minutes after the creation of a page before tagging it with the A1 or A3 deletion tags. Thank you, Pepper/piggle 23:42, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]The article A Love Like Tides has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
