Commercial use of Image:DaevYoshi1.jpg
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:DaevYoshi1.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:DaevYoshi1.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:DaevYoshi1.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 09:32, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Your photos in Hugh Hopper
[edit]Hi, and thanks for adding the photos to the article. When doing so, please consider to reduce their size e.g. by using the "thumb" flag and to put them at the beginning or end of a paragraph, not in the middle of text. Also, adding a caption text is very useful in my view, e.g. [[Image:soft bounds portrait lores 01.jpg|thumb|Soft Bounds]]. Maybe you could add some information including a date to the other pictures, too? P.S.: seeing your nickname here and the photos you appear to have access to, I wonder if you are that guy with that asian looking cap who played that bass in band whose name starts with "So" at those two open air festivals I visited here in Germany last year ... Anyway, best regards, BNutzer 14:01, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Use photo(s) in other language wikipedias
[edit]I would like to be able to include "Hh peavey 01.jpg" in the German wikipedia article de:Hugh Hopper. The easiest way to achieve that would be to upload it to http://commons.wikimedia.org, from where it can be used in any wikipedia without further download/re-upload activities. When doing so, it should in my view be given a more unique/descriptive filename like e.g. "Hugh Hopper peavey 01.jpg" (or "Hugh Hopper selfportrait peavey 01.jpg"?). I could and would do so, I would prefer if you - as the author - would do so. What do you think? Cheers, BNutzer 15:35, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Soft bounds portrait lores 01.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Soft bounds portrait lores 01.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
