January 2013

[edit]

Hello, I'm McGeddon. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. You added two external links to commercial QR design companies because you claimed in your edit summary that such design "was not commented on throughout the article" - it is in fact already described in the "Error correction" section. Your additional claim that such QR codes were called "mazes" didn't seem to be backed up by anywhere other than the mazeqr.com company you were linking to, so I reverted this statement also. If you have a reliable source for the "maze" term, or have anything else to add, then by all means do so, but "as of January 2013 here are a couple of arbitrary and currently-active commercial sites that will sell you a QR code" is inappropriate for Wikipedia. --McGeddon (talk) 09:33, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
