07:53:25, 9 June 2016 review of submission by Catherinehayden
Dear Hermera34,
Thank you for taking the time to review my submission. I appreciate it. To answer your question regarding whether this should not just be a section within in the parent company RE/MAX Wikipedia entry. I believe that the RE/MAX brand in South Africa is big enough to warrant its own entry. There is a branch in most towns in South Africa and one constantly see RE/MAX for sale signs on homes in suburbs. It is not simply a branch of RE/MAX, but the parent company for the Southern African region. They sell homes in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Mauritius etc. It is considered a very large brand in South Africa.
Thanks in advance for your consideration. Kind regards
- Please read WP:BRANCH for further information on this. The size of the company is not relevant in this regards. These are not notable "unless they are substantially discussed by reliable independent sources that extend beyond the [company's] local area." Hermera34 (talk) 11:20, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
Request on 11:29:02, 9 June 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by IvanSrsen
Hello, I would like to inquire why my article on Olja Savičević doesn't meet notability standards, even though I included in the references a number of newspaper articles, as well as two scholarly articles commenting on her literary value. For assistance, I'd be very grateful.IvanSrsen (talk) 11:29, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
- I do not see that this person was widely discussed by peers as required in WP:AUTHOR, regardless of the number of newspaper articles providing a review of one of her books. Further, the article must state why this person is notable, not leaving it to others to assess by clicking several links. Hermera34 (talk) 11:41, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi Hermera, thanks for reviewing my page so quickly! I've now replaced the wiki ref links. I'm still getting the following error message though despite not changing the way I'm doing the refs: Cite error: A [1]
Also I have some greyed out sections of text. How do I normalize these
And lastly, where is best for me to place picture references?
Thanks for your help!
Ali

- Updated missing </ref> tag in the article. Please read WP:CIT for information on how to format your references. Hermera34 (talk) 12:33, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
- ^ tag is missing the closing
Dear @Hermera34: A IP editor started a new article about a Berwyn Heights subject. It was not well written. I noticed that you had rejected it for lack of wiki-notability. Please would you take a look at my edits to the Draft:Bradley S. Jewitt and give me comments? Thank you in advance. My best regards, Geraldshields11 (talk) 18:07, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
- I still don't see the notability. Per the WP:NPOL requirements, local offices, such as city mayors, do not count for notability. So, notability must be established based upon the general requirements of WP:BIO, which I still don't see in this draft, even with some of the references documenting the military career activities, such as mobilization. Just my interpretation, though. I hope this helps. Hermera34 (talk) 18:51, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
