Hello, Heritagelady. You have new messages at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Cool Aid, Victoria, BC.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
  • Comment: Error: There was no comment detected! Please follow the instructions at Template:AfC comment. Here's one concern: you cite a number of publications which are not available online, but are word-for-word the same citations as used on Cool Aid's cite. Frankly, it looks like rather than actually dig up research you just took Cool Aid's own story and footnotes and just used those. Since a reader can't follow those footnotes back because they're not online, and because it appears you didn't read the original sources yourself, the sourcing isn't optimal. Fortunately, there are a bunch of sources available on GoogleBooks and also on Canadian news articles. I've added several of those already, so I suggest you use those resources as well to find more citations to add.
For news articles, you can use the "Cite" button at the top of your editing window to format footnotes; for GoogleBooks, the website http://reftag.appspot.com can automatically turn GoogleBooks URLS into formatted Wikipedia footnotes. Check around those and see if you can find more citations to prove all the various facts and claims in your draft. MatthewVanitas (talk) 05:05, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
