[edit]

Hello

You are doing a great job.

I also have created many subjects on the Netherlands

Just an advice try "preview" instead of editing your page many times

Best regards

--Laurentleap (talk) 15:15, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I 'll try, but I have serious difficulties to 'translate' the lemma's from the Dutch to the English wikipedia. Best regards Henriduvent (talk) 15:17, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The same for me

I don't speak a word of Dutch and I use automatic translation, sometimes it doesn't make sense at all

All the best, friend

--Laurentleap (talk) 12:08, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Laurenleap, thanks for your help. I just finished the Dutch national parks (the last one in only two edits!), Please have a look and feel free to improve. If I can help you to look after Dutch-english transformations, do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks again! Henriduvent (talk) 17:20, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are doing a great job. You know my English is not so good. When I try to write something in English and it's awkward. but sooner or later someone improves it. And I learn from it I am french for instance I wrote something on Eurogeul (on the french page as well).

Also English people don't like when there are no sources. The page may even be deleted! For instance I created the page Pilot Polder Andijk and it was nearly deleted !

Schiermonnikoog

[edit]

Hi Henriduvent, I was wondering why you think that Schiermonnikoog should redirect to the national park rather than the larger and more important island or municipality which includes it? 21:16, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi, in fact I only tried to link the list of national parks to the new lemma Schiermonnikoog National Park and not to Schiermonnikoog. I tried to give the lemma Schiermoniikoog a new name: Schiermonikoog (island and municipality), but this did not work. So I made a redircet. If there is a better solution, it is OK for me. Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ijzerkoekje requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Samur-Yalama National Park, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.eco.gov.az/en/samur-yalama/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. The Original Barnstar
Beste Henriduvent,

Hartelijke groet,

Goednielsshow (talk) 07:11, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have nothing against your edit on the Zika virus page which I contribute to too, but an edit summary would facilitate working through my watch list a lot. Mountain/montane ecology

[edit]

Hi. Since there's now an ongoing discussion about the move from montane ecology to mountain ecology, would you be willing to return the page to the original article title, pending resolution of the discussion? Thanks. Guettarda (talk) 04:35, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Guettarde. Of course, I hope there will be consensus soon, resulting in a title that is acceptable for all. To understand the discussion, I think, it is better now to keep the present title. best regards, 07:57, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

Policy says otherwise. If you move a page, and people object, the correct thing to do is to move it back while the discussion is ongoing. Thanks. Guettarda (talk) 13:08, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
But in this case there was not an objection to the change to mountain ecology but to my last change to vegetation zones (whuch is not the title anymore), best regards, Henriduvent (talk) 13:12, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't move pages against consensus. While the discussion remains open, it isn't in favour of "vegetation zones". Moving a page when the consensus is against the move is very poor form in a collaborative project, and will probably be considered disruptive editing. I have undone your move and returned the page to its original location. Guettarda (talk) 03:48, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I see the problem, but I just tried to do a new proposal, in line with common use of the terms in ecology. It is hard to accept that there are mistakes in an article, even if there seems to be consensus. Consensus is a good thing, good quality another. In general, looking at comparable articles such as vegtation types, there is a lack of knowledge on vegetatian science on the eEglish wikipedia. And I think that is because vegetation science has strong roots in Germnany, Switserland, France, Scandinavia, Russia and less in the UK or US. I hope there wil be European vegetation scientists to help to improve it. Best regards, Henriduvent (talk) 07:03, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Conference of the Birds (theatre), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
