AfD
[edit]Hello. Thanks for nominating Brigadier General John Henry Hammond for deletion, however I have already proposed deletion, which is a different deletion method for uncontroversial deletions, and an AfD discussion is unnecessary at the moment.
Thanks for participating in the community, and happy new year! echidnaLives - talk - edits 08:10, 1 January 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Lumina (Proposed City)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Lumina (Proposed City), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
- @Girth Summit can you please explain how this account is a Sockpuppet? HeliosSunGod (talk) 13:12, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- That explanation is in the block notice. I believe that you are the same person who edited here as Mr vili; if you would like to contest that, you can raise an unblock request and another checkuser will review the data. Girth Summit (blether) 13:14, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- I am just trying to understand the rational behind this? I have done nothing except for participate in the same WikiProject and on one article related to network states? How is that considered conclusive evidence of Sockpuppeting? Could you clarify further, thanks @Girth Summit

- Have you read the block notice? The block is not based on your behaviour, but on the technical data behind the various accounts you have used. Girth Summit (blether) 13:19, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- No actions I took went against the interest of building an encyclopedia. I engaged in no abusive behavior. I don't understand the reasoning behind the ban. @Girth Summit I don't mean to bother you, but can you please explain what actions I took that would be considered abusive? HeliosSunGod (talk) 13:32, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- WP:Block evasion is abusive in and of itself. You are not eligible for a fresh start while your original account remains blocked. Now, I think I have explained the situation fully; please stop pinging me. You remain at liberty to request unblock, and another CU will review my findings. I strongly advise you not to create yet another account, per WP:3X. Girth Summit (blether) 13:36, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
