Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! 10mmsocket (talk) 15:51, 6 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Korean Cultural Center New York. 10mmsocket (talk) 16:02, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't know that I had to write a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Such adjustments have been made due to the request from the marketing staff from the Korean Cultural Center in New York. I am an intern at the KCCNY, and I am doing my job. He asked me to edit the wrong information and remove the directors' section from the Wikipedia page because the current executive director's name is not reflected and they are subject to change every two years. Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Korean Cultural Center New York, you may be blocked from editing. AntiDionysius (talk) 17:52, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- No, it was directly requested by the marketing staff from the Korean Cultural Center New York. I am an intern at the KCCNY and I am doing my job. He asked me to edit wrong information and remove the directors section from the wikipedia page because the current executive director's name is not reflected and they are subject to change every two years. Heeeun105 (talk) 18:07, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- It was still unsourced. And as mentioned below, you have a conflict of interest and shouldn't be editing the page. AntiDionysius (talk) 18:09, 6 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Heeeun105. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 18:08, 6 August 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
The general information that I was trying to change is very simple and straightforward. The current address of KCCNY has been changed to 122 E 32nd St, New York, NY 10016 (See the Google map https://www.google.com/maps/place/Korean+Cultural+Center+New+York/@40.7452716,-73.9838383,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x89c258e533fec03f:0xc78aa26d2c36ec59!8m2!3d40.7452676!4d-73.9812634!16s%2Fm%2F0k80m6t?entry=ttu) and the operating hours of the KCCNY Library has been changed from 9 am to 5 pm to 10 am to 6 pm. The source is here. https://www.koreanculture.org/visitors-guideline. Most importantly, the current executive director has been changed to Cheon-soo Kim, which is not reflected on the current page of the KCCNY on the Wikipedia page. Please unblock my user ID or update the wrong information to the correct one. Thank you. Heeeun105 (talk) 18:27, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you:
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 20:33, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
