V and Knives

[edit]

I had placed the comment about the knives. I have the book in comic form, so I don't know what page 76 is. If you mean the comment by Almond about "fancy bloody knives", I took this to mean he simply didn't buy into the fingers claim and thought he was using a specialized form of knife instead. However, I don't recall ever seeing him actually using a knife in the entire book. Sarge Baldy 20:01, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Sarge, Yeah, that was the comment I was referring to. This is not as clear cut as I had originally thought... I looked at the coroner's comments again and they do seem to imply fingers as the weapon. But why then is he brandishing those throwing knives in so many cells of the comic? If you feel strongly about it, though, I don't have as clear cut a case as I thought, so it's fine with me if you'd like to change that back... Hedymiguel 20:29, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's a good point as well. I've added it back, with a hopefully satisfiable caveat. Sarge Baldy 20:40, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, nice work. I'm still convinced he used his fingers the rest of the time, though. Maybe we can say something along the lines of "While in the graphic novel V often kills using his fingers, in the film his preference is for throwing knives." ? Sarge Baldy 01:11, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
