[edit]I'm so sorry - I came over a bit retired-colonel here over this change of yours. I have now calmed down and left a less offensive (dummy) edit summary here. I must be honest and say I that I do still hate "architected", but I wish I hadn't been so rude about it! Apologies, cheers, DBaK (talk) 15:45, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
And thanks
[edit]For the other message. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 15:47, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
Politicians
[edit]Well, the thing is that no matter how obvious it may seem right now, we've seen lots of elections over the years in which the thing that seemed obvious in the beginning wasn't the thing that actually happened in the end — sometimes people die in the middle of the campaign, or get involved a controversy that quickly saps their support, or get overtaken by an "underdog" who wasn't initially predicted to actually have a shot, and on and so forth. Which is one of the reasons Wikipedia has a rule about not making predictions — no matter how obvious it may be that the candidate is likely to win, if you can't already make a strong claim of notability for other achievements prior to being a candidate then they shouldn't have an article until they actually do win. Hi there HEDGEFALL, AL from Portugal writing,
could you please do me a wikifavour, regarding this guy's article? Please don't: 1 - add numbers to honours, especially in cases like Aspas, when he has won ONE accolade; 2 - leave honours BEFORE statistics not AFTER, i have been trying to alter as much players as i can for coherence purposes; 3 - remove the youth club #1, as it's correct.
Attentively, keep up the good work --AL (talk) 23:02, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry to bother you. --AL (talk) 22:35, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm JMHamo. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kolo Touré, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. JMHamo (talk) 18:11, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, my mistake.. please note that Touré doesn't join Liverpool until next week although. JMHamo (talk) 18:14, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013–14 Liverpool F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sunderland (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Assists
[edit]There is no reliable source for assists, so they are not included in the stats table. JMHamo (talk) 21:50, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

Iago Aspas - Followup
[edit]Hi there HEDGEFALL,
You don't seem to want to engage in any conversation with me regarding this player, but please: 1 - don't remove his Celta de Vigo totals in intro; 2 - don't remove his youth clubs other than Celta (i don't know your Spanish but mine is fine thank you, and he played for CD Moaña it says in the first ref found in PERSONAL); 3 - don't add a La Liga promotion as an honour because that's not an accolade (if they had promoted as CHAMPIONS it would be, but they were second in the table behind Deportivo de La Coruña). Also, REF#5 was in the correct place because it does not source Celta being promoted, REF#6 does OK? As you can see, i now added a new source for your storyline additions regarding his individual accolades, and added two more for your storyline bit where he scored "11 more" during 2012-13. I tried to find a source with his Celta totals, but those in intro are the ones, please embrace WP:BOLD.
I have tried to reach a compromise between your last writings and mine, i only rolledback to get rid of the bad parts of your edits (the honours, youth stuff in box). Attentively --AL (talk) 21:58, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Again, i'm not aware of your Spanish level, but here (http://historiasdesegunda.com/2012/01/06/la-sangre-azul-celeste-de-iago-aspas/, paragraph#4, below Aleksandr Mostovoi's picture) it says he played youth football with Rápido de Bouzas, on LOAN as box very well says. Cheers --AL (talk) 22:26, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
Updates: my rollback unduly reverted your good additions on the STATISTICS chart below, have already reinstated, apologies. --AL (talk) 22:38, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
Clarification
[edit]Hi I'm just trying to understand why this edit of yours was made. Also to clarify my earlier rv, my objection was not that Rudd had won, but I don't believe PM designate is accurate in this particular instance. Cheers Flat Out let's discuss it 10:06, 26 June 2013 (UTC) Apologies, I didn't mean to remove that, it was a mistake. Hedgefall.
A kitten for you!

[edit]Good copy-editing on the Julia Gillard article. Why don't we see more of you? Tony (talk) 06:09, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Cheers mate! Nice to hear, I try to do a fair bit but I've got a lot going on as well, so I can't do as much as I'd like! Hedgefall (talk) 14:28, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Iago Aspas - Bits and pieces
[edit]Hi ther HFALL, AL "here",
please check the last message on my talkpage. After our (friendly) run-in in this player's page, i asked for mediation and, as you can see from the admin's reply, i was not making up when i reverted you in his honours.
Could you please accommodate? Thanks, sorry for any incovenience --AL (talk) 00:31, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Andre Wisdom without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! [edit]I assume this [1] was a mistake. Hard to tell, since you didn't leave an edit summary. Try to be a bit more careful. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:45, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Liverpool player appearances
[edit]Hello, just so you know that appearences and goals (and any other stats) are not to be updated until after the match has finished. JMHamo (talk) 12:06, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
Suggested reading. --Nemo 06:34, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hedgefall, it really would help other people if you provided reasons for your edits. I left a note for you on John Major's talk page asking why you removed a properly cited wp:Suggested sources article in which Malcolm Rifkind explained that Thatcher wanted to be able to be a back seat driver. You're clearly a competent editor but other people want to co-operate with you and edit summaries & talk pages are the only way we have of doing this. You can email me & no I don't bite :) Regards JRPG (talk) 18:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

User warning
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nelson Mandela. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please participate in the talk page discussion at Talk:Nelson Mandela#Edit request on 9 December 2013 HelenOnline 14:41, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- I have again reverted your tendentious editing. Do you not understand how WP:BRD works? HelenOnline 07:55, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mentoz86. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Raheem Sterling without thoroughly explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Mentoz86 (talk) 17:06, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Jordan Henderson. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:01, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Ben Davies (footballer born 1995). Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:58, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
- Your please are reminiscent of those you made when you were previously facing blocks. I'd prefer to wait for GiantSnowman to make his independent verdict. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:20, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
