Disambiguation link notification for February 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Andrew Crummy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Scottish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

LovelyLillith has given you a cupcake! Cupcakes promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a cupcake, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Thank you for your work on textiles - Wikipedia is sorely lacking in that area! Keep up the good work!†

[edit]Remove no sources template?
[edit]Hello, I've been working on the Crewel Embroidery article, carefully documenting the historical section I've been concentrating on. I've also added a citation to existing content. I wonder if, at this point, the No Sources template that you had added earlier might be removed, and individual citation needed indications be used instead? I've added one so far. TrudiJ (talk) 00:13, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
- I think it looks great! Thanks for adding lots of content and sources; I'll remove the template. Heddles (talk) 07:46, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
Your edits here last year were in total breach of WP:CITEVAR. If I had spotted them in time I would just have reverted the lot, but this is now complicated by subsequent edits. Your drive-by vandalism has made expanding the article more difficult. I hope in the meantime you have realized that editing like this is not acceptable. Johnbod (talk) 03:04, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
