Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Hdawodu, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi, I received some notifications that you had used content taken from other sources to NBA salary cap, namely this and this. Unless explicitly mentioned on the website in question, all content is considered to be copyrighted to the content creator, which means that you cannot repost the content as is or closely paraphrase the material regardless of whether or not you cite the source. As such, the content had to be deleted from Wikipedia.

I would like you to review the plagiarism and copyright module before progressing further, thanks. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:05, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • On a side note, I can send a copy of this to you and your professor if they need to see your work so far. The number one thing is that you cannot re-add any copyrighted content to the article. If this is something you would like me to do, send me a message on my talk page or leave me a message here with this tag: {{u|Shalor (Wiki Ed)}} Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:03, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
