Speedy deletion nomination of Tasty planet
[edit]A tag has been placed on Tasty planet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Cheers!☮ —Ecw.Technoid.Dweeb | contributions | talk 01:51, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've removed the speedy-deletion tag, and I've added a newspaper source. Welcome to Wikipedia, from me too. :) Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Color blindness
[edit]See WP:ENGVAR for our guide on Commonwealth vs American spelling. If you believe there is a good argument why this article should use the Commonwealth spelling, please make it on the talk page. Your argument should be specifically about "colour blindness" as a term, rather than a general argument about why one national spelling is better than another.-gadfium 04:23, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Liam Holmes
[edit]A tag has been placed on Liam Holmes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. [edit]Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Francis Drake, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.-gadfium 23:48, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Nomination of Runescape Wiki for deletion
[edit]A discussion has begun about whether the article Runescape Wiki, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Runescape Wiki until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. This article's been deleted twice before under different titles. I'm sorry, but I can't see why it's different now. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 19:53, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
