The article Picnic (2004 film) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Notability of Lisa burns

[edit]

The article Lisa burns has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for this specific type of article, you may want to check out our criterion for biographies, specifically the section WP:NACTOR. JohnCD (talk) 15:32, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop recreating articles

[edit]

You think just because you will try again no one will notice or the articles will somehow be allowed now? They've been deleted multiple times before for not meeting our notability guidelines yet you keep recreating them with the same content. Cease immediately or else the page titles will be creation protected and you will be blocked for disruptive editing. WIkipedia is not a battleground and you should take the time to familiarize yourself with our notability policies. Opencooper (talk) 13:19, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Someone should familiarize himself with our actual deletion guidelines. There's nothing wrong with trying to write an article on a potentially eligible subject just because a prior version was A7-d. Rather than threatening a good faith editor who's been here only a few weeks, you ought to help them work on article improvement. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo). Treated like dirt by administrators since 2006. (talk) 15:03, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes there is. If all you do is recreate an exact replica of an article that was speedy deleted multiple times, you're just editing disruptively. It's edit warring but for page creations. And I did assume good faith, that's why I'm telling them to familiarize themselves with our notability guidelines, which were also linked in all of the deletion templates on their page. Maybe you should assume good faith on my assuming good faith on them, huh? Opencooper (talk) 15:15, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
