Ways to improve Eurotophobia
[edit]Hi, I'm Rasimmons. Hawaan12, thanks for creating Eurotophobia!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The page cites sources, but many of them seem dubious and potentially inaccurate. I would suggest maybe finding some better ones.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. R. A. Simmons Talk 14:43, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
Categories and templates
[edit]Thank you for your interest it organizing information in wikipedia. However it seems you do not understand how it works in wikipedia. Please spend some longer time editing and gain some experience before creating new categories and templates. - üser:Altenmann >t 15:53, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
References
[edit]Please don't add references which do not support the text of the article like you did in "Infantilization". This may be considered to be a sneaky vandalism. - üser:Altenmann >t 16:04, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- If you continue to remove sourced content I will report you. Hawaan12 (talk) 17:39, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- Aren't you infantilizing yourself? I am not deleting sourced content. On the other hand, you are adding footnotes which do not support the text you footnoted. Anyway, thank you for providing quotations, and I fixed the article text accordingly. In the future please make sure that the information written in the book correctly corresponds to wikipedia's article. - üser:Altenmann >t 03:32, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Arabian Plate, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Palestine and Egyptian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Burj Khalifa and tides
[edit]Hey Hawaan12! Back on 22:47, 23 February 2016 (UTC) you added the following sentence to Burj Khalifa: During low tides and clearness, you can see the shores of Iran from the top of the skyscraper., citing this reference. Where did you get the "low tides" part? I don't see it mentioned anywhere in that reference. Cheers! -- ToE 13:41, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
- I assumed "clear day" was an umbrella term. Even if it is not, it was the first entry I thought of that could circumvent wikipedia's paraphrase policy. But I don't mind altering the sentence to sound like NYT if its prudent. Hawaan12 (talk) 13:54, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Template:Countries and regions in the South American Plate requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>
).
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -- Irn (talk) 12:07, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

I am not sure what time zone your in (so you may be in the middle of performing this very act), but when you moved the template:Infobox religion, it appears the template documentation did not make it. --Zfish118⋉talk 16:36, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
- I see you fixed it - thanks. Hawaan12 (talk) 11:37, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Causes of traffic collisions
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Causes of traffic collisions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.hanatroid.com/2015/06/horrible-road-accident.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa (talk) 13:09, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
