My 600th DYK
Thanks. It's not the article I had hoped would gain this distinction (my 500th was Perry Mason moment, which was what I wanted it to be). But the hook is great. Daniel Case (talk) 03:54, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
DYK for Waste House
On 12 October 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Waste House, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that construction materials for the Waste House (pictured) included floppy disks, VHS cassettes, bicycle inner tubes, old jeans and 20,000 toothbrushes? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Waste House. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Thanks
Thanks Hassocks5489 for unlocking another secret of Wiki for me. This is a whole new science and language. I need to attend a summer school to learn this! I have never found manuals and explanations easy to use even the language of the explations can be daunting. I see now I can cut and paste your markup for other usages. I should have thought of that. Good luck with railway ticketing. With phone apps that could become history. We see today's common place being tomorrows museum material.Holyinn43 (talk) 08:37, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
