Speedy deletion nomination of TalentEarth

[edit]

Hello Harveystock,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged TalentEarth for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:03, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removing speedy deletion templates

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from TalentEarth, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Help

[edit]

Hi! Is read you post here. The problem with the TalentEarth article is the lack of notability. Wikipedia has notability standards for companies (see: WP:ORG). Articles must cite reliable sources that are independent of the subject and which significantly cover the subject (see: WP:42). Without citing reliable sources, it is not an encyclopedic article, but a pure spam (advertising). If you need more time to write the article, you should use the wp:drafts namespace (i.e. Draft:TalentEarth), and then you can move it to the main namespace when you feel it's ready. If you want to learn how to upload images, read this: Wikipedia:Uploading images. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know on my talk page. Hello Harveystock. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "TalentEarth".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/TalentEarth}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 12:08, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
