A tag has been placed on Harvest (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Mpdelbuono, thank you for reverting the vandalism by Knudli to the Harvest (band) article. Should he be blocked? Again, thank you. Harvestertalk 23:57, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I totally forgot I put this notice here. I responded on my talk page where you commented on this. Sorry for the duplicate thread :) --Mpdelbuono (talk) 02:01, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I thought I'd post the reply in both places in case you weren't watching my talk page. My apologies also for the duplicate thread. Thanks again, Harvestertalk 05:55, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Harvest

[edit]

Hi, there was also a California band "Harest" that was made up of members Rick Evans (now with The Imperials), Pam Hunter, Kevin Bailey and Tim Bailey. I believe they were only on Manna Records, they lasted for about 3 years originaly from 1980-1983 before Rick & Pam went back to The Crownsmen for about a year or two and not to long after that Rick ended up singing with The Californians, Kevin Bailey joined The Regents Quartet from Southern California. In the late 90s to early 2000s Kevin Bailey & Bruce Wanger (also of the Regents) brought on Bruce's wife and daughter of Don Nixon, Teri Nixon Wanger and reformed Harvest but they didn't do much traveling on their own, they did more of their singing with The Regents and that ended around 2005. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Steveund (talkcontribs) 11:23, June 6, 2011

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it! Harvestertalk 04:29, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Did Harvest Sing Lyric "Many Will See...And Trust The Lord"?

[edit]

Or, do I have my 80's contemporary Christian songs mixed up?

Gary in Fort Worth

Not that I know of. Could you be thinking of the song "Many Will See It", by LAMB? Here is a link to the lyrics: http://www.delusionresistance.org/christian/lamb/jub/jub04.html . Let me know if you have any other questions! Harvestertalk 20:08, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
