[edit]If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Decline reason:
- you must agree to avoid creating or directly editing articles related to your organization (requested edits will still be permitted)
- you must agree to abide by the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use and disclose any paid relationship in accordance with the paid contributor policy
- you must indicate what areas of Wikipedia you intend to edit in the future
If you have no interest in editing Wikipedia beyond writing about your organization or things related to it, then you will not be unblocked. If this is the case, I recommend you consider alternative outlets.
So we know understanding is mutual, please state your understanding/response to each item in your own words.
I'm sorry that this message could not be more favorable. 331dot (talk) 16:24, 14 May 2019 (UTC)Harlinsdale (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Thank you for changing my username. I would like to be unblocked and understand that I need to address the additional points you included. First, I agree to abide by Wikipedia's Terms of Use and will disclose any paid relationship in accordance with the policy. I'd like to update neutral, factual information when I see it not updated accurately on wikipedia pages. I find this information, particularly in regards to creative projects and works, to be incredibly useful in my own research and it's not always readily available. I agree to avoid creating or directly editing any items related to any organization with whom I am involved, so as not to create any conflict of interest. If I notice information that begs updating on an organization I am involved with, I understand and am willing to request edits according to the process laid out in the Wikipedia policy. Again, any violation was not done intentionally and I apologize for any disruption to the community. I am more than willing to abide by these policies in order to make useful, valuable contributions to Wikipedia. Thanks again for your consideration.
Accept reason:
This is reasonable, and since your username has been changed I see no reason to leave the block in place. As long as you hold to the promises made above, you should have no further problems. Welcome back. Yunshui 雲水 08:20, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
