Presidents and Vice Presidents of Palau
[edit]In my opinion, it would be a good idea to combine the articles President of Palau and Vice President of Palau. Both are short articles. We could redirect Vice Presidents of Palau to President of Palau. I would like your thoughts on this.Векочел (talk) 01:58, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- It could be done, I suppose. But I don't know if there are other articles which has done the same approach? Perhaps ask for feedback at WikiProject Politics?Hariboneagle927 (talk) 07:01, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup Squads
[edit]"Using ironic wrong". The only thing wrong here is you being gullible! Yes, you editing the Philippines' squad to make it seem that the squad was announced on April is ironic, meaning it's contradictory which it is. The AFC revealed all the squads on March 29 which is four days before the PFF announced it. Just reading some of your edits for biographies for example, your English is below standard, yet here you are trying to tell me that my usage of a word is wrong. Now that is ironic. You don't even know how to use the words "on" and "in" properly. Second, local media always uses "co-captain" for whatever reason. It should be Captain and Vice-captain and surely you know that as well? Or not? Co-captaincy isn't even allowed. Co-captaincy obviously means captaincy is shared which would then mean that if both players were on the field at the same time, especially if they're in the starting XI, both would wear the captains armband, which just doesn't happen. Even for the men's national team, when Caligdong was still an active international, local media usually referred to him as "co-captain". The captaincy would switch between him and Phil for different matches. Yet they never wore the captains armband at the same time when they both played. Back to the women's national team, Tahnai Annis has been leading the team out despite Impelido being the supposed "original" captain. Therefore the Philippines squad in the squad page should be Annis as captain! FilFootyGuy (talk) 13:54, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- Here we go again with your rambling and whining... Yes I stand corrected on the squad announcement date. I overlooked the AFC releasing the full squad at that time. The PFF isn't trying to deceive, by announcing the squad at a later date than the rest of the national team. They just happened to released their own Press release. Jeeze.
- Again, just I stated that the PFF itself (not just the local media) mentioned the co-captaincy. I know that there could be a "vice captain". I thought it would be a similar set up to Caligdong and Phil that they would switch captaincy roles and doubtful if they would be in the field at the same time. If you just explained this earlier without being so condescending just because you may be well verse in football terminologies. Stop being overdramaticHariboneagle927 (talk) 14:13, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi you recently moved the above page. Do you have a source to show that this is the WP:COMMONNAME for this person? The only source on the page refers to her as Katherine Bell. Cheers Dom from Paris (talk) 04:02, 25 April 2018 (UTC) Dom from Paris (talk) 04:02, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- The move was originally made under WP:NATURALDIS to remove the paranthetical disambiguation though I review the policy that it the name should still be one of the commoname for the subject if not the most common name. I moved back the article to its old name. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 10:23, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- I noticed a source that refers to her as Khat Bell, I wonder if this could be a NATURALDIS? Dom from Paris (talk) 13:35, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- There's something like 10k Ghits for Khat Bell [1] Dom from Paris (talk) 13:39, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- It could be several sources uses "Khat Bell" wihtout mentioning her whole first name "Katherine" (e.g. Journey Fit, Texas University (article, and profile, The Daily Texan, Voleybolun Adresi (Turkish), and San Antonio Express News). Also Khat isn't seem to be a common or standard nickname for "Katherine" or "Catherine", unlike like Bob for Robert, Alex for Alexander or Alexandra, Sam for Samantha etc. so Khat Belle could work as a NATURALDIS title.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 02:38, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
