Copying from other wikis
[edit]Hi, I received a notice that you had copied material from another wiki, the League of Legends eSports wiki. While this wiki is released under a compatible Creative Commons license, there is an issue with the content in that we can't guarantee that the information from this wiki is correct without providing sourcing to back up the claims. The LoL wiki wouldn't count as their content is entirely user submitted and as such, isn't considered to be a reliable source. All content must absolutely be backed up with a reliable source or it runs the risk of being removed.
Now as far as the content goes we do need to note somewhere that material has been copied from another place, as attribution would still be needed. This is something that you wouldn't necessarily know to do, so I've added this to the page. In general it's usually better to write the content in your own words, based on sourcing that you've found. The chances of a user submitted wiki containing mistakes or deliberate misinformation is much higher than it would be for say, a reliable source like a newspaper or a scholarly journal.
