Newark NJ fire dept Wikipedia page
Hi, yes that user in Florida that disrupted the FDNY page also continuously disrupts Newark NJ as well. His other ip address which is a non-static roaming one from St.Petersburg is blocked until June 21, and I bet when it expires (it was for 30 days) he'll be at it once again. I call for him to be blocked for persistent disruptive editing. I remember once or twice I made a "questionable " edit to some other Wikipedia article and everyone crawled out of the woodwork to admonish me, and this person gets away with his OCD like nonsense. Thank you, Doriden Doriden (talk) 16:04, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
FDNY
That recent edit you undid and told him to go to the sandbox is the same non static roaming ip that you believe to be Zackman. He is blocked until June 27 on the other ip. From same area of Florida. I would like to see him blocked. His persistent disruptive editing behavior particularly to fire dept Wikipedia pages has to stop. Thank you, Doriden Doriden (talk) 15:56, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, I've been tracking this revolving IP editor for quite some time. Looping in McChizzle as well as I know they have been reverting the same culprit on various military pages. HankScorpio1519 (talk) 21:49, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, this person is quite disruptive. It would be great if this individual could be blocked. Can an IP range be blocked or just a specific IP? This IP editor in question—who persists with their bad grammar on US Army unit pages (Sockpuppetry)—has a rotting IP address but the first four sets of numbers remain the same ("2603:9000:9907:1100..."). --McChizzle (talk) 22:03, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- That IP range is blocked for a month but expires on June 27th, see: Special:Contributions/2603:9000:9907:1100:0:0:0:0/64. But definitely a concern when that ends. In the meantime they seem to be using another set of IP addresses. HankScorpio1519 (talk) 22:06, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Do you know the IP range they are using now for I am not seeing the same edits on the US Army unit pages since "2603:9000:9907:1100..." was blocked? --McChizzle (talk) 23:07, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Here is one of them: Special:Contributions/172.58.172.209. Coming from the Florida area like the revolving IP range. HankScorpio1519 (talk) 23:22, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- They are back and immediately back to the same edits.HankScorpio1519 (talk) 02:28, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
It's only a matter of time if this person continues again after this 3 months block, it will probably lead to permanent block. Doriden (talk) 21:45, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
He's back
That persistent disruptive editor based in Florida is back from his 30 day block. This guy apparently can't help himself and has to be blocked permanently. I have no experience in trying to do this, perhaps you can have something done about this person. Someone thinks that it is Zackman 008, or something like that. Ok, thanks Doriden (talk) 02:30, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
- Maybe you can reach out to the admin that did the IP block ban the last time? HankScorpio1519 (talk) 13:39, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
I did and the block is now for 90 days. Doriden (talk) 21:37, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
2603.9000.9907
I appealed to the Wikipedia editor about this person who persistently does disruptive editing and he is now blocked for 3 months. Doriden (talk) 20:57, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
- Already back at it with the other IP address range: Special:Contributions/172.58.172.0/24. HankScorpio1519 (talk) 03:24, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
