Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! --Demiurge1000 (talk) 21:57, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wangchuck surname

[edit]

Since you want to have the Wangchuck surname in the articles, why not check this article for consistency? She already has a very long full name in her infobox. Her most common name should be most prominent, while her birth name should be mentioned somewhere in the article. There are sources of Phuntsho Choden being referred to as Wangchuck though Phuntsho Choden is the most common name.

There is no need to mention the surname Wangchuck more than once in the article as it becomes redundant especially when the consort is not always referred to as such. Please note that I have no problem keeping the surname in as long as it is not overdone and is sourced.

And please don't make unexplained edits if you are going to make drastic changes (such as changes to format or style) to the article. If the edits you are making are going to be controversial in any way, please discuss the proposed changes.

While you're at it, you may as well edit this article.

September 2016

[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:22, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
