- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! What to do next
[edit]I'm happy to hear that you understand our commitment to respect for copyright.
I am not permitted to restore copyright violations but I'll meet you part way.
I had applied a process called revdel, which meant you couldn't even look at your prior edits. I've temporarily undone that. I realize you a new editor so let me explain what you can do. Use the view history tab on the article which will bring you to this page
Click on the button which says "compare selected revisions". That will bring up a page which will show you everything I removed some of which is a copy file and some of which was not. Do not undo the edits but simply copy and paste whatever information you needed and then re-create it as a new edit.
Please let me know when you are done so that I can hide the versions with the copyright issues.
Thanks again for understanding and good luck editing.--S Philbrick(Talk) 01:51, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Thank you very much for this detailed help! I'll get on this right away and get back to you soon. Haeinc (talk) 01:56, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
I've screencapped all of the information I needed. Thank you again for your help! Haeinc (talk) 02:03, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know, I've restored the revdel on the prior edits.--S Philbrick(Talk) 12:15, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
