Hi, you updated [1] with the cover of the fourth edition. I think this is not the intended way of updating the file. May you please revert your change, upload the cover of the fourth edition as Clrs4.jpeg and change the cover in the article Introduction to Algorithms? Thank you. --ElLutzo (talk) 01:14, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Noted, thank you. Hadal1337 (talk) 13:24, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Hadal1337,

You recently PROD'd this page for deletion. However, you failed to do two necessary parts of this process. Please leave an edit summary stating that you are PRODding an article (or say "proposing for deletion"). This is in case the tag is removed, we need to be able to easily see that the article has been PROD'd before and the easiest way to do this is by looking at the edit summaries on the page history.

Secondly, any time you tag a page for any type of deletion (CSD, PROD, AFD/MFD/RFD/etc.), you need to post a notification on the talk page of the page creator. It's common courtesy to let the editor who created the page know that it's been tagged for deletion especially in the case of PRODs where they can address the concerns and possibly improve the article. The easiest way to do these notifications is to use Twinkle to tag pages for deletion. It's a tool used by most editors who patrol pages and by many administrators. It's very simple to use and once you set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator", then Twinkle will post these notices for you, on your behalf. It has a lot of other very useful features, like Twinkle will maintain logs for you of pages you have tagged for deletion which can be helpfu to review. I encourage editors to learn how to use it because it makes tagging pages for all sorts of issues very simple. Thank you for your contributions. Liz Read! Talk! 22:15, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback, duly noted. Hadal1337 (talk) 13:03, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Cassiopeia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Draft:Alexandr Wang, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Cassiopeia talk 00:46, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It seems you have reverted by edit and then reverted back to my edit again. I have added a primary source for now while I continue to search for better sources. Hadal1337 (talk) 01:14, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Misuse of autopatrolled

[edit]

You asked about this at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Virtual Museum of Computing but that is not a suitable place to discuss this. In the first instant, one should take this issue to the administrator who gave the user the right, in this case User:Courcelles. However, Courcelles has not been active recently and may not respond. Generally, withdrawal of permissions are handled at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. You will need to provide diffs of instances where the user has abused the autopatrolled right and make sure you inform the user that you have opened a thread. Information icon Hi Hadal1337! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Leroy Cronin several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Leroy Cronin, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:11, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you must be mistaken, I have only reversed it once due to suspected vandalism. Hadal1337 (talk) 18:29, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, the message is indeed not entirely accurate. You have unnecessarily joined an edit war, but you have not made multiple reverts. "Vandalism" means intentionally causing damage to the encyclopedia; I see significant disruption in the history, but not really vandalism. Did you take more than the minute between the edit and your revert to check if WP:BLPRESTORE may be applicable? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:58, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did a double check of the contents that I was restoring, and they seemed from good sources. I wasn't aware that there was an edit war going on. In the future, I will take more notice. Hadal1337 (talk) 07:55, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that does sound fine. No worries. You may like to join the currently-running discussion on the talk page of the article. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:38, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Scale AI

[edit]

Hello, Hadal1337. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Scale AI".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 02:41, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, GE Aviation, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 18:00, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi BilCat, thank you for the heads up. I noticed GE Aviation has changed its to name GE Aerospace on social platforms and its own website, leading me to assume the name has already been changed. Like you mentioned, I was unable to find an official reference to them actually changing it, so let's leave it like it is for now :) Hadal1337 (talk) 12:33, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I was able to find a few sources for it, so I moved the article yesterday. I had not visited their website since the announcement, so I'd not realized that they had changed the name almost immediately. It all worked out. BilCat (talk) 21:21, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to hear! Hadal1337 (talk) 12:31, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I kindly request that you undelete the page so that there are a couple of edits I can do on it so that I can improve it to meet the standards of Wikipedia policies. with the news available [1][2][3][4] Zimula Carol (talk) 07:16, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
