Copyedit an Article
[edit]The first edit you made is incorrect. "Series" is in a singular, even though the word ends with an "s." You should revert that change.
The comma you added in the second edit is optional, and it doesn't do much to improve the article.
You have the option to redo the assignment if you do it within a week. Josef Horáček (talk) 19:13, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- I made new edits. May you review them? Thanks HVD1998 (talk) 02:10, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
- Much better. Josef Horáček (talk) 01:01, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
Adding Sources
[edit]Your sources look good. Go ahead and add them to the article. Josef Horáček (talk) 19:15, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- Your sources did improve the article. However, your reference for the article by Flister is incomplete. Also, your sandbox indicates that you found it in Academic Search Complete, but the link you provided in the article points to Academia.edu. At this point, though, you should focus on the third assignment. Josef Horáček (talk) 00:59, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
The Lead
[edit]Your lead isn't working. Much of what you say is evaluation rather than information, and there's no good definition of what cinematic technique really is. Part of the problem is with the article. You have two options: either find a better article or write a short lead for this one that simply explains what this article contains, which is a list of cinematic techniques divided into categories and briefly defined.
Whatever you decide, you have three days to draft a new lead. Josef Horáček (talk) 03:55, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- All you need for the lead is this sentence: "This article contains a list cinematic techniques that are divided into categories and are shortly explained." Go ahead a post it. Josef Horáček (talk) 01:04, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
