Confusion[edit]

I am confused with some editing and moving of pages. :( A page was moved and I don't know why, and admin checks? Or anyone can move page to drafts?

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, HPlilly. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Praxidicae (talk) 20:31, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am confused here, I clicked on different things to check and it is all messed up. Could you explain please what should I do? Exactly. HPlilly (talk) 20:35, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

HPlilly Please see WP:COIDISCLOSEPAY for directions. Praxidicae (talk) 20:35, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for coming here, there were 2 articles and one was not deleting and other was draft and then there were 2 with the same name, I was trying to adjust them and it went so confusing. It was hanged and then saying delete manually. I read the topic above, I work for a volunteer group that distribute tasks and I have to research for products and people associated with charity and of different decent working in the USA. my manager gave me names and I trace and find images of the activities and my manager asked me to submit work online if I can to blogs and public platforms for presentations. Now I talked to my manager and she said we are not paid for this work but we are connected with them and work for charity and fundraising from people like them. So I'll use the general COI mentioned in the read out. Thanks for your help it's so much to read and it's confusing while editing visually is peanuts.HPlilly (talk) 21:36, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I wasn't aware of that draft process, I did some research on here and found out how to create pages and found many articles with lesser notability and failing General notability that you mentioned in the other article. The person who moved Kalista's page created so many articles but none of them seems notable and all are directly created, so should I draft the articles first then move myself them to main space like that person or should I wait. Also, where should I draft them? e.g Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri, Saleh Husin, Shamshad Abdullaev should I draft and then move or should I create a small one and then do editing to it little by little instead of complete article submission?

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kalista Zackhariyas, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]

The timing of your input to Bircham International University (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) is a remarkable coincidence: [1]. Per the terms of use you are required to declare any commercial interest when editing. We're quite familiar with William Martin's efforts to whitewash this article so the idea of an editor with your limited history suddenly deciding out of the blue to "fix" this obscure article is, shall we say, a big ask on the WP:AGF front.
