Please clarify why you reverted my edit on Bukharin Jews. Yes, I am a new editor but that should not discredit the quality of my entry. Oshevo is the most important meal for Bukharin Jews and should rightly be included in the subsection about cuisine. I also worked with an experienced Wikipedia editor who helped me with the entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Israelbmw (talkcontribs) 11:51, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Apologies. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 16:25, 8 April 2016 (UTC) [reply]
@Israelbmw: I performed a Google search on the subject of Oshevo, and it returned zero results. Could you perhaps point me to a source (possibly offline) that verifies the statement above? Also, which editor did you collaborate with for the entry? You've made only three edits so far? lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 16:31, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind, found 'em. Turns out it was in the wrong spelling. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 16:34, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have been teaching her about WP editing. You are right, she's brand new, but I think she will have many strengths as an editor because she is trilingual and a good student. She told me she will get a Bukharian cookbook for her future edits on this type of ethnic cooking. I am wondering whether you can restore her edit since, from what I gather, some type of bot prevented her from reverting your comments. Thank you

@BrandenburgG: Sorry for the somewhat delayed reply. I've reported the revert as a false positive and restored the edit. Hopefully it won't spark another revert. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 15:08, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, you undid some of the tweaks that I made to the page 'Shabbona'. I Believe that you made a huge mistake because it said Osama Bin Laden as employer and Muslim as nationality. Those were inappropriate and clearly not correct. I feel that you are not doing a good thing by changing all the fixes. Your thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hotandspicychickenwings2.0 (talkcontribs) 11 May 2016

First of all, while I admit that I inadvertedly restored another vandalised revision, the edit you made to the article wasn't constructive either, so I had to mark it as such and revert them. I've now restored the page to a clean revision. Also, this indicates that you have been evading your block, which is not allowed. If you want to be unblocked, please request an unblock on the talk page of your original account by inserting {{unblock|1=Insert your reason to be unblocked here}} under the block template. Block evasion will not help your case. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 02:44, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please explain to me how my edit of the Irish mob in Australia was false? Some else put up this information on Wiki a few years ago. I noticed it had been removed, so I thought I'd update it again. Unless you have a biased opinion in this matter. The facts are clearly true. Look up Ned Kelly, the Moran family and the painter and dockers, you will see it is not hard to find. So unless you have a valid reason why I shouldn't keep updating this information, I will keep trying to Wacko44 (talk) 04:30, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please explain why you removed an entire section here? With regards to the additions you made earlier, as pointed out by TheOldJacobite earlier, was that it lacked references to support the addition of the names to the article. This does not mean that those names do not exist in real life; it's just that such additions will need to be supported with reliable sources. Please read WP:RS in order to determine what constitutes as a reliable source. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 17:09, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You left me a message about changes to the Wikipedia page on the Messianic Age. I did not alter that page (I don't recall ever visiting it). I believe you addressed yourself to the wrong person (or someone is logging in as me). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.122.175.104 (talk) 16:39, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. With regards to this, you are editing as an IP, and as such, it is likely that someone else would have been editing using this IP; therefore, it doesn't mean that you were the one editing the article at that time. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 02:02, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, HMSLavender. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
