Closing the verifiability RfC

Hello HJ Mitchell, this is Mr. Stradivarius from the MedCab mediation about the verifiability policy. I'm not sure if you're aware of it or not, but we're in the process of drafting a new RfC about the wording of the policy lede. I understand that closing the last RfC on this issue was quite a slog, but the mediation participants seem very keen to want you to do it again! Would you be willing to go through the process one more time, or would you prefer that things be done another way? I'd be grateful for your input. Also, seeing as we lowly mediation participants should not really presume to be able to choose how the RfC gets closed, I'm just about to start a discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#Question about closing the verifiability RfC where you are mentioned, so you might want to make a comment there too if you feel so inclined. If you need any clarification about any of this, just ask. Best — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 14:28, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

You caught me at a good time; I've been less active for a while, but I'm planning to get back into things soon. I'm flattered that people thought highly enough of the three of us that they want us back, and I'd be happy to close the new RfC when the time comes. I don't see any reason why selecting your closers in advance should be a problem. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:48, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! I'll let the mediation participants know you're willing to close it. We're still debating whether to name the closers beforehand at the mediation, and this point has proved to be quite contentious, so I'm not sure what the final outcome will be. But I'll let you know when we get there. — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 10:18, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Hello again. The present idea among the mediation participants is to find three admins who have no previous involvement with the issues at all, and because of this I've just opened a call for uninvolved admins at the administrators' noticeboard. Thanks again for your kind offer to close this, and sorry for the miscommunication. Best — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 14:54, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
I suspect you may struggle to find three experienced admins with no previous involvement in the issue whatsoever, but good luck nonetheless. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:56, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
I was thinking the same thing... and to cap it off, they will need to be free at the end of July, when any self-respecting admin would surely be on holiday. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose. :) Thanks again! — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 02:10, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Ian Tomlinson

Hi HJ There's an ongoing discussion regarding the wording of the lead in the Ian Tomlinson article. SlimVirgin asked one of the editors previously involved in the discussion to if he would like to comment, but she seems to have forgotten to ask you. The discussion is here, if you'd like to share your views. Cheers, 87.113.118.169 (talk) 10:59, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Arbcom again

Hi Harry,

last februari you closed an Arbcom case about me and you gave me a warning to keep decorum [2]. I feel that I have heeded that warning. Now I am again in an Arbcom case, initiated by the same editor [3].

Could you please look if you see any violation of your warning (keeping decorum) in my edits after you warned me. I haven't been very active since then so I think it's not asking too much.

I did use a tongue-in-cheek style on the fringe theories noticeboard that led to this Arbcom and I admit it that was a "stupid mistake-a to make-a" and I regret getting everything stirred up again. Nevertheless, I feel I am on the right side of the line.

Actually, I am tired of being in a position that is so easy to discredit, walking a thin line with editors eager to exploit any misstep. I feel that I am totally in line with the spirit of Wikipedia.

Banned or not, please give me your feedback.

Thanks, --POVbrigand (talk) 13:57, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Request

Hi HJ Mitchell. I noticed your name at Wikipedia:Peer review/volunteers#General copyediting. I have been working to get Grey's Anatomy to featured status, and the user who peer reviewed it says it needs a copyedit to finish it off. Furthermore, he recommended a user who has a FA where they were the primary copyeditor, and I noticed that you can account to that. That being said, I would be greatly appreciative if you could copyedit the article. It needs to be thorough, and I'm primarily concerned with comma usage, quote issues (comma before closing quote or after), minor sentence phrasing issues, and wikilinking. Also, note that the article is written in American English, and there are two main characters on the show with the last name "Grey" (Meredith and Lexie), which is why I refer to them by first name throughout the article. I really hope you can do it, TRLIJC19 (talk) 00:44, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

I wasn't planning on taking copy-edit requests for a little while, but I love Grey's Anatomy! I'll take look, without making any firm commitment, but I'm working on something else at the minute and I'd like to finish that off first, so it might be the weekend before I get to it. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:33, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi HJ Mitchell, I've recently been investigating a large number of inter-connected IPs that all seem to engage in frequent disruption of football-related articles. Although the editor often makes good-faith edits as well, he is unreasonably anti-collaborative and he is an edit warrior to the point where several articles have had to be locked to prevent his harmful edits. In examining a certain kind of edit he seems to be fond of I came across this post of yours which indicated to me that you may have some familiarity with the same editor/editors I am tracing. I was wondering if you could give me a little background for this particular post and perhaps could you explain whether the "favorite football team" is always the same team or whether it is several different ones.

The editor I am examining (I think it's a single individual who edits from a cloud of dynamic IPs) seems to be a fanatic about the Shamrock Rovers. His MO includes removal of all tags requesting improvement to or additional sources and the un-sourced insertion of information he claims to have personal knowledge of despite repeated requests to provide RSes. He is a single-minded edit warrior and refuses to get the point until the page is protected from his constant un-sourced additions. I have noticed that he has gone on sprees of adding "favorite football team" information to articles on celebrities and actors and that's how I came across your edit. Any information you can provide on this character or thoughts on how to stop him would be very helpful. Thanks. (NOTE: This is essentially a copy/paste job from a prior inquiry I sent to User:MarnetteD) -Thibbs (talk) 17:41, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

I first came across him at Colm Meaney, where Marnette asked me to intervene because he'd been adding this sort of rubbish to the article. Whether or not it's true or worthy of inclusion in the article are editorial decisions, not administrative ones, but the persistence and the refusal to provide a source for the statement were grounds for admin intervention. I tried rangeblocks, but nothing small enough that the software would allow it was effective, so the article is currently on a year-long semi-protection. Hope that helps, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:51, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
OK, that's good to know. Thank you for this info. -Thibbs (talk) 20:34, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Revert parole violation

Hi HJ Mitchell,

I thought I should notify you that User:Slovenski Volk, on whom you imposed a 0R revert restriction on Ancient Macedonians last year, just violated it [4] with a revert of this edit [5]. Note that the preceding edit by the IP [6], which is none other than Slovenski Volk editing unlogged is already a partial rv of a previous edit of mine [7]. That the IP is SV editing unlogged is obvious from the contribs [8] [9]] to Eurasian Avars and Ancient Macedonians (e.g. [10] [11]) and edit summaries (e.g. compare [12] [13]). Athenean (talk) 18:56, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

That's not a revert. Its grammatical correction - the sentence repeats the same geographic locality twice within it, as I wrote . You simple seem to have missed it. Otherwise the sentence would be the same as saying "Bill Clinton was born in southern USA, in the state of Arkansas, which is in the USA". So I can't even correct brazen grammatical gibberish now ? Slovenski Volk (talk) 21:36, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
Brazen grammatical gibberish it is not (and I don't appreciate the characterization), the purpose of my addition was that the alluvial plain of the Haliacmon and Axios is in the modern Greek province of Macedonia, which is not obvious to the average reader. Now, there were many ways to improve that further, but you chose to perform two clear reverts. The fact that you think you are right does not mean they were not reverts. Athenean (talk) 21:47, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
It is not 2 reverts. I had no idea when your addition was made, nor that it was even made by you, so my original edit is not a revert (its not like I have not been tracking your every movement). As far as your allegation of a second revert, user:Macedonian questioned "where is the second (use of the same geographic descriptor in the one and same sentence)" as written in his edit summary. I merely replied , and really did not see it as a reverting gesture, but answering a question and removing duplicated material. There was no overall change to the meaning of the sentence, it still states the same essential fact. I am more than happy to take discussions to the relevant talk page - and that's what I have been doing, and have not reverted any content changes. But to I think it would get to the point of ridiculousness to open up a discussion forum every time there is a blatant grammatical error or omission. Surely I can make changes, in good faith, to what I perceived as unintentional use of poor English by non-native speakers. Slovenski Volk (talk) 22:13, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi again, HJ Mitchell. I may have misunderstood you, but last week (Wednesday the 27th I think), you said you were planning to copyedit Grey's Anatomy around the weekend (of June 30). It has now been a week since the weekend you were referring to, and I was just looking for clarification. I am aware that you said you were not definite about copyediting it, so I am writing to see if you still plan on getting to it, or if I should search for a different editor. I hope you can still do it, TRLIJC19 (talk) 06:28, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

I have no problem waiting, if you can get to it around the 18th. Likewise, can you confirm that you will definitely get to the article? Also, just a reminder of what I'm concerned with: comma usage, MOS:LQ issues, run-ons, and awkward wording. Also, I don't know if I mentioned this but it's written in American English; hope that's okay! Cheers, TRLIJC19 (talk) 05:29, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.

If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 17:18, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Disguising your opinions as a grammatical correction

[14] You are welcome to voice your opinion or to comment on the proposed decision on the talk page of the proposed decision. But do not change the content of the proposed decision: are you certain that there were allegations involving only one particular named individual? That notice is on the page for a reason. If you do not agree with the wording of a proposal on the page, go to the talk page and raise your concern. Risker (talk) 00:17, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

Much as I enjoyed talking to you at Wikimania, Risker, that was a really fucking ignorant revert. Almost as bloody stupid as lynching someone for being the victim of harassment because it's easier than dealing with the real issue. My edit was perfectly justified and the revert served no purpose but to protect the committee's collective undue sense of self importance. Your wording suggests there are accusations made about Commons admins. But alas, bureaucracy prevails and arbs' egos are preserved. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:38, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
HJ, it was an entirely appropriate revert, and your edit (and particularly your edit summary) was inappropriate. Do you know for a fact that there are no allegations against Commons admins, or are you just speculating here? Is there a reason why you had to publish your overall opinion of the case on a page that you very clearly are NOT supposed to edit? There's a great big talk page there waiting for you to add either your opinion on the case overall, or your concerns about the wording of that particular proposal. Go for it, let's talk about it there. This is your only warning, in keeping with the case rules (see here. The next one gets you blocked, admin or no. Your personal feelings on the matter don't justify this behaviour. Risker (talk) 00:46, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Nice use of an intensifier there HJ Mitchell, lucky that you're an administrator. ;-) Malleus Fatuorum 01:33, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks Malleus; now why do I get the feeling I'm going to become you in 30 years or so? ;) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:49, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
I've been working recently on a High Court Judge, who despite all my initial prejudices I've actually come to rather admire for his uncompromising attitude to what he saw as right and wrong. All any of us can do is what we believe to be right and bugger the consequences. So if that's what you meant by becoming me in 30 years or so then I'd say bring it on. Malleus Fatuorum 03:02, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Surely someone of your experience would know better than to revert a useful edit because the edit summary offended you? The sentence as it is is ambiguous at best and you would be able to see that if you weren't too busy putting me in my place. As for the merits of the case, I have better things to do (like write an encyclopaedia) than express an opinion which the committee would doubtless ignore. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:03, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
HJ, you are probably correct that the sentence is ambiguous - but you don't know what the actual intent was, and have made an assumption. Why do you think you personally have the right to determine what someone else meant there, and to be insulting about it while you were at it? Let's put it this way: if that edit was made by someone that nobody "knew", that editor would be blocked and possibly banned by now. Risker (talk) 01:16, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Last I checked, contempt of ArbCom was not a bannable offence so please stop making vague allusions. If you're quite finished putting me in my place, kindly reinstate my edit or tell me I'm wrong. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:49, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
I don't know whether or not you're wrong, because I am familiar enough with the case to know that either could be correct (there were indeed concerns expressed about the Commons admins, whose actions are of course outside of Enwp Arbcom's jurisdiction). So I have asked the original author, who I believe is AFK at the moment. Risker (talk) 02:39, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
I'll accept that apology any time, Risker. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:47, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

You may not know that Fae somewhere in those great walls of words said they preferred the gender-free plural "them" to "him". I don't know if that is why it is being used here, but it does demonstrate how confusing the "singular they" can be. Bielle (talk) 00:32, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

HJ Mitchell, your assumption that the Arbitration Committee would automatically ignore your (or any editor's) opinion regarding a pending case is mistaken. As it happens, the Committee has probably changed the outcome of an important remedy in another case today based in part on soundly reasoned community input, and I've just edited a proposal I made based on talkpage input as well. While ultimately each of the arbitrators uses his or her own best judgment, we all consider valid input from all sources, certainly including the thoughts of experienced editors such as yourself.

As for your specific edit to the Fae proposed decision page, let's put it this way. Editors other than the arbitrators (and sometimes the clerks) are asked not to edit the proposed decision page except for obvious, indisputable typos and grammatical errors. Since someone is disputing the change you made, by definition it's not indisputable. Therefore, please provide your input on the talkpage instead. That's all that should need to be said about this. Regards, Newyorkbrad (talk) 01:12, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

With respect, Brad, that's bollocks. The committee has no more respect for me than I have for it. Your second point is almost spot on, however, which is why the current sloppy wording remains. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:49, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Sorry to barge onto your talk page, HJ Mitchell. I'm confused. If ArbCom will listen to community input, will they look at information that has not been highlighted as of now? I thought that if any information became available after the evidence phase closed, it was worthless. Is that not how it works? NewtonGeek (talk) 03:12, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

HJ, you might not agree with the case or the finding, but arbitration cases would be chaotic if everyone felt they could tweak and change things at will. Risker was right to say that the talk page of the proposed decision was the best place to raise the matter. If you feel as strongly as your edit summary suggests, you really should make a public statement on the proposed decision talk page. It does actually help arbitrators to see statements like that, rather than expressed in edit summaries. Though if you feel that strongly, it might be best to ask someone else to look at any statement first before you post it. You should probably disclose any WM-UK affiliations as well. And I should probably say at this stage that I've also met Risker, Brad, and you in real life (as well as several others at various meet-ups). I've not had a chance to talk to Fae much in person (though he was at several events as well), but there should be ways to de-escalate this rather than escalate matters and end up with lots of bad feelings. Carcharoth (talk) 06:49, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

While I understand that you may be upset, please kindly remember that we should all try to be civil, even when we are upset.

Therefore I ask you, as an Arbitration Clerk, to change the intensifiers currently in use in that post. That's all I ask, as you can see, the conversations on the PD talk page can get out of hand in a heartbeat, and we rather prefer people to remain calm, whenever possible. Thank you for understanding. - Penwhale | dance in the air and follow his steps 07:34, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

No. There are no personal attacks in there, and nothing that is untrue. If my language offend you, I suggest you ignore it or grow a thicker skin instead of coming here and patronising me. A clerk you may be but that doesn't mean I can't attempt to stop ArbCom from making a disastrous decision (not that I expect they'll pay much attention), using whichever words I choose to get my point across and to make clear my strength of feeling. Oh, and if an arb put you up to this, tell them to grow a pair. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 07:52, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
I never said anything about the content or the context of your post. I am trying to make sure that the conversation threads can remain civil and not spiraling out of control. While I understand that you're upset, please work with me, okay? If I were trying to patronize you, I would have been more stern (and my tone of voice would have been different than what I wrote above). That was not my intention. And no, no arbitrator put me up to this - if an arbitrator requested us to make sure the comments are made in a civil way, the tone of the notification would have been much, much different, and you would know the difference. - Penwhale | dance in the air and follow his steps 08:34, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Arbortion article titles

Hi HJ. Have you got any thoughts on the latest thread here? Progress seems to have stalled but I wonder if there's anything we can do to help move things along. EyeSerenetalk 07:58, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Well the proposal is worth considering, except for the risk that the articles remain there by default or due to stonewalling by those that favour those titles. Though at the current rate of progress, there's as much risk they'll end up languishing at the current titles, which everyone hates.

I suppose there are two things we can do. We could a) enact the proposal and move the articles to less-hated titles until we have a consensus to move them elsewhere, or b) really push the discussion forward, which probably means drafting the skeleton of the second phase ourselves and then inviting comments on the structure of the page before opening it up for discussion of the issues. My preference is for b, though they're not necessarily mutually exclusive. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 09:27, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

That's my preference too. I think we could certainly be more robust in facilitating the debate without crossing the line of WP:INVOLVED. EyeSerenetalk 10:02, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

on that note

I ended up running off for a hotel near the airport and so sort of disappeared at the end there. Just wanted to say it was great meeting you and lifting a few glasses together along with all the wiki-talk. And no, you do not look like a rabbit. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:19, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi HJ Mitchell. It's been about a week since I've heard from you, as you didn't respond to the last message I sent you, and the bot archived it. Can I please get a confirmation from you that you will be copyediting the article in the coming days? I recall you said the 18th, and tomorrow will be the 20th. Sorry if I sound impatient, it's just that I have been waiting for this article to be copyedited since May. That said, I really hope you can get to it within the next few days. Also, just a reminder of what I'm concerned with: comma usage, MOS:LQ issues, run-ons, and awkward wording. Also, I don't know if I mentioned this but it's written in American English; hope that's okay! I hope you respond, TRLIJC19 (talk) 18:43, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

I'm just guessing here, but while at Wikimania Mr. Mitchell got caught in a rainstorm and his laptop got fried. He may not have a working computer at the moment. the whole incident made me paranoid enough that the next time it rained I,fished a plastic bag out of a garbage can, cleared it it of fast-food debris and wrapped my bag in it. Those D.C. downpours can soak you to the bone in seconds. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:16, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
Okay, well I guess I'll just wait until he responds. TRLIJC19 (talk) 00:17, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi HJ Mitchell If I have this correct you deleted my recent article....I'm new to this but never the less I do understand that some articles may violate some of the rules. Please explain to me why you deleted my article Phillip Witcomb.. cheers

Hi. Yes, unfortunately the article did not comply with our criteria for inclusion. For more details please follow the links in the message(s) on your talk page. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:17, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Hey! I nominated the above article for FAC but there have been some complaints about the prose level. Could you take a look and copyedit the article to be up to standard? I'd be more than grateful to you. Thanks. —Hahc21 02:08, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Confession, request one time exemption from block

I just edited twice in the article "Gulf War". I now realize that there is a 1 revert limitation. One edit was a citation needed tag and the other one added the names of 4 ships that participated. I don't think they are controversial at all.

I don't quite understand what is a revert. Is it an edit? If so, I have unwittingly violated the article probation. The warning says that I will be blocked. Would you accept this as a confession and not block me. I don't know who to contact but saw your name in the link to the arbitration case. That case was about Palestine and Israel. I don't know how that is related to Iraq or Kuwait but the warning is there.

Thank you in advance for your consideration into not blocking me. I will cease from editing for 24 hours to serve as punishment but ask that you not formally block me. Auchansa (talk) 03:55, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

I was going to ask why you are not answering but it seems that you are on holiday. Perhaps, you are participating in the Olympics? If so, hope you win. Auchansa (talk) 05:33, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

I am still waiting for your answer. So far, I have just like blocked myself for 48 hours. I cannot actually block myself but I have refrained from editing. To avoid controversy, I will wait another 24 hours except to answer a question that someone posed on my talk page. Auchansa (talk) 02:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Are you there? Auchansa (talk) 04:32, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) I don't see any warnings on your talk page about having defied a 1rr. The 1r and 3r rules do not cover straightforward editing. They refer to undoing , in whole or in part, the edit of another user. For more precise details see WP:3RR. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:40, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Kudpung is right—you made two edits, but not two reverts. His link is good, and WP:REVERT might help as well. Oh, anmd no, I wasn't competing in the Olympics; my keyboard is broken. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 13:13, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply. I feel much better now that I know that I am not a crook. I would like to make a suggestion and would like your comment. What if Wikipedia were to develop formal and precise rules, perhaps called the "Wikipedia Standby Rules of Order" (WP-SROO). The preamble of the WP-SROO would be for everyone to continue Wikipedia traditions of behaviour, sort of informal or even IAR. However, when things get controversial or difficult, the the WP-SROO can be invoked. For example, the undue weight criteria could utilize comparison of the proposed edit with other trivial facts in the article. If the proposed edit has more substantial or important info that the trivial facts, then it must be accepted or consideration of the trivial facts as too trivial must be considered. However, in practice, usually, the WP-SROO would not be used but the current system of consensus.
What do you think of this brainstorming idea? Might it work for Israeli articles and similar battlegrounds?
Another possible WP-SROO would be for what I just did. If I thought I unwittingly violated 1RR, I could withdraw and "self block" and that would prevent being actually blocked, particularly if this were a rare event for me. Of course, this example is probably a bad example and I also haven't described the proposed WP-SROO well. Auchansa (talk) 04:46, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi HJ. I left a couple of comments at your FLC, and overall the list is near a promotion. Would you mind taking a look at the comments and responding to them? I'd like to get this off the main FLC page the next time I promote/archive lists (probably Wednesday), and I'd like to see all comments taken care of before this happens. Thanks. Giants2008 (Talk) 21:12, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I believe I've addressed both the outstanding points. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:30, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello!

Still laughing over your tag on your userpage. So. So. True. Captured my exact feelings! Take care sir! Benkenobi18 (talk) 01:29, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Notice

Hi again HJ Mitchell. I understand that your laptop broke and you have been unable to edit Wikipedia recently. It's probably been a hassle lately, so I've asked another user to copyedit Grey's Anatomy (which they're doing now), to get that off your shoulders. Thanks anyways, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 04:01, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

RFC/AAT followup draft: willing to participate?

Hi. I'm making substantial progress on my draft of a followup RFC to AAT, User:Chaos5023/Abortion advocacy movement coverage. The draft presently names you, along with the other two closing administrators for AAT, as a closer. Are you okay with that? If ArbCom were to accept the proposed RFC as a valid followup to AAT, would you be willing to participate in closing it? —chaos5023 (talk) 03:20, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Black Kite has indicated willingness to participate, FYI. —chaos5023 (talk) 14:25, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
I would. I'm without a fully functioning computer at the moment, so I'm not going to be much use for another couple of days until I can get a new keyboard. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:36, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Great, thanks! Plenty of time. :) —chaos5023 (talk) 14:28, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
