Image:Bahnhof_Christian.jpg listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Bahnhof_Christian.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Kelly hi! 17:15, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what you mean? Can you show me when / where I deleted it? I don't remember doing it and I don't see any deletion log... gren グレン 03:58, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, okay. You are misunderstanding what I did. This edit did not remove your image. It kept the image but made it an image map so that when I click the text on your image it will link to the proper pages on Wikipedia. Your image is still used. When you click the image it no longer goes to the image page unless you click the big white 'i' in a blue circle on the upper right side of the page. I hope that explains it. gren グレン 13:55, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:S-Bahn-Wien Stand 2009 (en).png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:S-Bahn-Wien Stand 2009 (en).png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:06, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Muster (rot-blaue Balken).png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NW (Talk) 14:53, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Source for "Dubbing films in Europe.png"

[edit]

Could you please add your sources for this image. I think Lithuania has the wrong color. Movies tend to be dubbed there, but the image says that only subtitles are used. --88.78.117.13 (talk) 11:20, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also Turkey seems to have the wrong color. Dubbing is common in Turkey. They even have a website about it: http://dublaj.com.tr/ --88.78.117.13 (talk) 11:30, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if Lithuania is also dubbing TV series and foreign TV shows since there are no real verifiable evidences. If you could post me some verifiable evidences that Lithuania is also dubbing foreign TV series and TV shows in addition to children related fimls, I will change the map right away.
In Turkey dubbing for children related fimls (especially animated cartoons) is very common but in Turkey not all types of films are dubbed.
Those films or TV series can be heard in its original language and are subtitled in Turkish language and so Turkey is not a real full cast dubbing country. Häsk (talk) 18:55, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Bahnhof Christian.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The file File:Häsk.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Personal file, no foreseeable encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
