Vivat Benyovszky!

[edit]

Thank you for your kind comment. I am only partially of Slovak descent, but I lived in Slovakia when I was a child. Slovak even used to be my first language. I am glad you liked your stay in Slovakia. I enjoyed very much my three trips to Budapest, where several of my Hungarian friends live. The night life there is so vibrant and international! Pretty amazing. I remember the Vivat Benyovszky! movie from my childhood and I hope you will enjoy the DVD version. Maybe you will be also interested in another movie coming to the theaters this year: Bathory. Again, the heroine was important for both Hungary and Slovakia and the movie is funded by producers from both countries. I am curious how they dealt with that legendary story. Cheers.
